I am new to this 2+2. But I am not to poker. In fact, I love the game. I have been on and off playing poker for 5 years. At first, I just wanted to learn poker and various forms of poker (holdem, omaha, stud, razz). It was always just fun and exciting. But when I graduated, I realized that I dont want this kind of lifestyle. I want to be free to find more excitement. It is poker. I want to pursue poker professionally. I can say that I have learned so much from the game. I have a solid understanding how to beat the game. Right now I dont have good bankroll for anything yet. But I am working on it. I have a part time job at a restaurant (I chose to work here because it will be easy for me to focus in poker). The I have 3 off day for poker. So I start playing as going for work. At current level, I play about 6 hours a day, 3 days a week. that makes 18 hours a week. My initial bankroll is $1000. My game of choice is fixed limit holdem $4/8 and omaha 8 $4/8. I understand the rule of bankroll management, but I know my skill is way higher than this level, and I am comfortable playing this limit. So why not since I can pretty much beat anyone at this limit. My profit up to now is about $100-200/day. that makes $25/hour.

I am not sure what kind of advice I am looking for. But I dont let my family know that I am doing this. But I might want to know if this is possible for me at all? Am I on the right track? How soon should I move up?
