Okay, back from Ubud! Had a great time up there and finished my 3BP OOP Flop Strat, just have to find the best way to make it humanly appliable ingame, but I'm close to it!

Anyway, here go some pics!

Only 9 more days left here ... after that i'll spend 2 more days in Singapore and then back to Spain to visit my family before leaving to Mexico and finally to Vegas for the WSOP.

BTW... I'm a fish with boxing, but every fight I've seen from Lomachenko looks like he's just years ahead of his competition... it this just me or is he really a lot better than the rest?

Sick thread pal.

Lomachenko really is on a different level. Linares did well to make the fight as close as it was. Wouldn't mind seeing him take on mikey garcia , think he's the one in lightweight division that can make a fight of it .

Nice pics!

Lomachenko really is light years ahead of the competition (at least up to 130lbs) I still believe he beats Garcia at 135 but is not a certainty. He's already fighting above the weight were he is most effective so the reality is you will almost never see the best version of Loma again (yet he's still unbelievable).

It baffles me how anyone, let alone the ring magazine, persists with GGG as their number 1 pound for pound boxer. No one currently fighting has a better resume than Loma.

Loma has some pretty cool fight preparations, spent 2 years doing ballet to improve his balance/nimbleness on his feet.

Well well... SCOOP is finally over! I'm exhausted! I played 4 tournaments and 7 hours this SCOOPs... now a well deserved vacation haha!

Anyway, woke up at 4.30 am to grind, and opened 4 MTT's, SCOOP Mid and Low and 2 others, cashed 2 of them and bubbled a FT as usual... At least locked a little 1.5k net profit so can't really complain... I'm super tired now at noon after sleeping 5 hours and waking up at 4.30... never again!

I’m a habitual PG&C lurker and this thread is the sleeper, low-key the best thread on this site. Just wanted to say you’re doing this poker thing right mate, too many get caught up in the graph and are content not having any meaningful life experiences outside of grinding. It’s refreshing to see a change of pace and witness someone realizing the potential in the freedom offered by being a poker player. Keep up the fantastic posts, they’re truly an inspiration!

Thanks a lot! Appreciate the kind words! I wish I could grind more, but I just love live to much!

Only 2 days left in Bali, but have a lot planned, I hope to get some pics to post! Then off to Singapore where I made 2 restaurant reservations which will deliver some sick food porn pics! And in Spain I hope to go to 1 or 2 beaches which are epic, so in the coming 2 weeks I hope to post some high quality pics on here! Ohh... and let’s not forget maybe some sick stacks at 1/2 or 2/5 live games hahah. My local casino doesn’t offer any higher and I want a little warm up pre WSOP, so I’ll just play whatever there is for 2-3 days.

Btw, I found a super nice way to structure almost my whole 3bp oop gameplan! Super proud of this! I feel I would be a good coach if I decide to coach one day! Anyway, not gonna happen for now, was just a thought I had!

Will make another proper update before leaving Singapore!

Ok... this will be a long one, but will try to make is as short as possible.

So since my last update I've been to the following places: Singapore, Mallorca (Spain), Mexico City, Las Vegas and back to Mallorca.

SINGAPORE

After my trip to Bali I spent about 3 more days in Singapore and went to 2 nice restaurant aside from discovering the city. The funny thing about those restaurant was that both where in hospitals... I would chose a hospital as my location for a restaurant but whatever... Here are some pics of the food:
Wagyu A-5:

Black sesame ice cream:

Aburi sushi:

Anago nigiri:

Uni and o-toro:

MALLORCA
After Singapore I went to see my family a couple days and started preparing for WSOP

My home town Valldemossa:

Deia:

MEXICO
After Mallorca I had to go to Mexico for some days as I was the Godfather of my nephew for his first communion.
Some tacos:

Gusanos de Maguey (worms!)

Escamoles (larvae of ants!)

LAS VEGAS
Now let's get to Poker! Basically I mantained a super nice routine the whole trip, and from the 28 days I was there I trained 27, and 90% of the days I would have an eggwhite omelette at the Aria Buffet, order chicken with veggies from All American Dave and end with some nice dinner. During my stay in Vegas I lost some weight and got in pretty good shape. Since I started dieting and working out I've lost about 12 kg and this is how I look now:

Pretty happy, but still a long way to go.

Anyway, now let's go with poker before ending with more food pics. I played about 207 hours this trip and mainly 10/20 and 20/40 with the occasional 40/80. I started playing only at the Bellagio, but this year the games have been terrible and I started looking for games in other casinos such as the Aria, Wynn or the Rio. I must say I run pretty game in regards to getting in good games but ran pretty decent in poker winning at around 7 bb/hour which considering the games I was in is okay. I also played 4 tournaments: 3k 6max, Venetian 1600 with 3m gtd (lasted 15 minutes), Monster Stack and Main Event.

Here are some chip stacks, I almost always forgot to take pics but thid years biggest stack was a little over 20k, nothing compared to last years 100k+ stack but who cares as at the end I has a pretty small percentatge on last years game anyway.

MTT Stacks:

Monster stack: busted around 100 from the money...

Main Event: Busted in brutal fashion around 200 from the money with KKvsAQvsAK and another guy claiming to have folded an A, flop QQx and bye bye.

That's the pokers... I met some really nice people this trip, had some drinks with the legendary Wazawskihh and Marc Mcdonnell, some nice sushi with friends from Spain and London, etc. I absolutely enjoyed this trip and I was super happy to mantain and early schedule routine the whole trip.

Now more sushi pics:

Kabuto Edomae, my favourite or maybe second favourite place (close with Yui Edomae). We ordered the omakase plus some extra nigiris.

La Reve at the Wynn:

Hiroyoshi: That one is a la carte and among my favourites:

Yui Edomae: Amazing! We went with my wife and 4 other poker players, we played a guessing game of who get's closer to the actual price of the bill and I won so I didn't have to pay for myself

Raku: Wagyu A-5 was super good, pork ear not so much:

Sen of Japan: Was super nice with some friends and wifes, unfortunately I lost a 1000$ cardroulette

I think I'm gonna save the pics from mallorca and post them another day...

Next plans are: Mallorca until EPT Barcelona, basically chill out and study and work out. After that EPT Barcelona (but only 5 days this year as cash games suck anyway), London for a month and then 2 months to LA and 10 days to Vegas for WPT 5 diamonds, and then probably Mexico for christmas.

Hey guys! Tomorrow it's time to get on the road again!

I've spent big part of my time since I've been back from WSOP chilling, but since the beginning of August I started studying every single day 1-2 hours and I feel super ready to make a short return to online during September (but more on my plans later).

Aside from that I finally started a foodie instagram account (and will start the blog soon) and have been exploring a ton of new restaurants and also even kind of started studying gastronomy, restaurants, etc. Super addicted to all that right now!

Anyway back to poker and my plans:

-August:

Spent my time studying and preparing myself for both online and live and I think I finally found the right path of simplifying strats which has always been a concern for me (I think I've talked a lot about this). Actually I want to start some type of coaching because I just enjoy studying that much.

Tomorrow it's time for EPT Barcelona! I'm going super late this year because cash games have been super disappointing the last years, but it seems I continue my trend of running bad with game selection, and games this year are pretty good. Anyway, will be playing the Main and some cashgames if I bust. I also made a bunch of reservations at nice restaurants for the blog!

-September:

My plan is to play a nice selection of WCOOP events, play some online cashgames, NL400-600 and zoom500 mainly, study a ton more, and play some live poker as well. Also of course try many more restaurants haha.

-October/November:

I booked an apartment and will be staying 2 months in LA and play some live poker.

December:

Will head to Vegas for WPT for one week and then off to Mexico to spend some time with friends and my wifes family.

Those are my plans basically, a side from that I might move out of London because I plan on traveling a bunch next year and it's just not worth paying a flat for the year and staying 3 months, but I have to evaluate all options first.

Anyway, that's all and I hope to make my next update post EPT Barcelona!

Hey!

Back from Barcelona and in London now ready for WCOOP!

Regarding Barcelona, my plan was to play cashgames once I bust the main, but i ran really deep in the main event and got 30th for 35.5k€ (finally crossed the 100k earning on hendon lol) at the end. It was a surreal experience, at that stage it's when tourneys get really fun and I enjoyed it a lot! Oh btw I was also on the TV table twice which was fun!

Here are some pics:

After busting I was leaving next day which was Saturday to be able to grind sunday WCOOP but I missed my flight and used the opportunity to try the restaurants I had to miss because or the deep run, and man those restaurants were incredible!

Anyway, now I'm back in London and I spent last night and today organizing everything to get back to the online grind after not having played online cashgames for almost a year! So I might get crushed on the zoom500 and NL400-600 streets, but I don't care, I'm super pumped and studied a ton! I will combine the cashgames with some WCOOP events as well.

Tomorrow will be the first WCOOP event for me, the super tuesday, and will one table it while playing cash most surely, and spend the morning studying and going to the gym.

Ok, no WCOOP for me tonight, I forgot that day 2 would be tomorrow, and tomorrow is time for The Araki, a 3 star michelin Omakase which took me half year of trying to get a seat, so only studying and hopefully some online cashgames tonight!

Just stumbled on this, played a bit in the 10/20-20/40 this summer in Bellagio with you, you were definitely one of the stronger regs in the game.

GL the rest of the year!

pretty good thread, as a fellow food lover some of those pics make me super jealous. are you supposed to eat each piece of sushi in a bite or are you allowed to take smaller ones? esp some of that uni looks overwhelming

and if you wanna stay anon you should try a bit harder =p

Yes, each piece in one bite, they are smaller than they look, so it's not a problem!
