Thanks!

It's spread through various sites, but my biggest volume is on Stars, even more now as I was a bit rusty after 4 months not playing online and wanted to play on less sites and good ones to focus on my game rather than dealing with ****ty softwares.

Thanks! I got a desktop, this laptop would just be for when I travel to still be able to put some hours into PIO. And depending on where I travel I might even grind a little bit, but not very likely.

The one and only Bena! I follow you PGC (def one of my favs), and we haven't played to much, I almost never play zoom, and since you started mixing in reg tables I was on the dark side of live poker and chinese apps. But we will probably play against each other on NL600-1k in the near future.

So today I feel like putting in a nice online session, this time at least 4+hours. The nice thing right now is since deciding to go for more live poker volume I stopped putting so much pressure on myself trying to get to be a HS endboss and therefor only playing online even when not feeling it. Now I can play live when I feel like playing live poker, online when I want to play online poker or even just study.

Gonna try to post some little food porn pics, as it's one of my favourite hobbies and it's a topic that might come up often.

This ones are from Engawa restaurant in London.

Kobe Beef and truffle sushi

Hamatoro sashimi, never tried it before, only knew o-toro and chu-toro.

Sea urchin o-toro and truffle crepe

Hida beef, also a new one for me, I know Wagyu but not this one.

O-toro sashimi

And then, for my day to day I just eat this boring stuff, as I'm trying to get back in shape. Basically just chicken/minced meat/salmon with veggies. I used to train 6 days a week and diet really strictly but I lost my motivation a long time ago, I hope I change this very soon because I'm already fat enough standing at 83kg being 1,80m tall. Need to get at least below 80kg before my wedding. I managed to lose 20kg in 2 months in the past so if I put in the work it should be easy.

And last but not least, cryptos. I kind of feel like I can't do anything at the moment, I usually always enter the exchanges I have my money on, read a bunch, etc but since all this forks are happening I feel like my hands are tied, I don't want to sell altcoins as they will go up at some point and I anyway just want to hold them, I don't want to buy BTC as I feel like it will go a little down at some points, so basically I can just observe. I feel like my crypto bink could be cindicator, I bought some on their ICO and things are looking quite good.

Anyway, this is all for the off-poker post. I'll post poker related stuff tonight after I'm finished!

Thanks man! Let's keep'em coming! I have one chip porn saved from last years EPT Barcelona but i'll keep it for some other time!

PS: Just to avoid any confusions, I play those live game staked. I want this to be clear because i'd hate being that guy who tries to come across as a HS Crusher and isn't really. I'm convinced i'll get there at some point, but for now I play them staked and I obv don't feel ashamed/embarrassed at all, I'm actually even proud that someone trusts my skills and let's me play such games.

Anyway, just wanted to clarify this one last time.

Will post again tonight

So, ended up grinding 4hours today and studying a little bit. I feel like games are completely dead, I'll have to add some more lobbies soon because I've had to 3table a bunch today because of lack of traffic. I'm actually glad I decide to put more volume in live games.

I'm actually really happy about my game right now and I think I'll be grinding the NL1K games again pretty soon. I'm really making good progress with PIO, and my stats look pretty nice at the moment.

Also if live games in London continue being this horrible it might be more EV anyway. I played a 5-10 the other games with aparently 4-5 guys who all beat zoom200, I mean that must be the toughest 5-10 on earth lol.

Anyway, here are a couple hands from today.

Hold'em No Limit - $2/$4 - 5 players
Hand delivered by Pokeit

UTG: $553.20 (138 bb)
CO: $409.93 (102 bb)
BU (Hero): $422.20 (106 bb)
SB: $444.17 (111 bb)
BB: $400.00 (100 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($6) Hero is BTN with J 8
2 players fold, Hero raises to $8.92, 1 fold, BB calls $4.92

Flop: ($19.84) 9 T A (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $6.02, BB raises to $48, Hero calls $41.98

Turn: ($115.84) K (2 players)
BB bets $88, Hero calls $88

River: ($291.84) 4 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $277.28 (all-in), BB calls $255.08 (all-in)

Total pot: $802 (Rake: $3)

Spoiler:
Showdown:
BU (Hero) shows J 8 (high card, Ace)
(Equity - Pre-Flop: 57%, Flop: 53%, Turn: 34%, River: 0%)

BB shows T 9 (two pair, Tens and Nines)
(Equity - Pre-Flop: 43%, Flop: 47%, Turn: 66%, River: 100%)

BB wins $799

Villain is a rec player. I feel like that sizing he uses to XR is always value or at least something good enough to stack off. I think he would use another sizing as a bluff here but I might be wrong. That leaves me kind of doubtful about my river bluff but I think he might do the same with Ax FD, or even Kx FD and just keep betting and giving up river in which case I think I could make him fold that part of his range.

HAND 2.

Nice cooler

So I have no clue what I'm gonna do tomorrow, I know I'll go play live on Monday, but i'm undecided about tomorrow, will just see once I wake up, but I plan on going to the cinema so I probably won't be able to play any live poker, in which case i'll just play 3-4 hours online and study a bit more.

Will try to do a little weekly recap tomorrow!

WEEKLY RECAP

So far since I started this new adventure, hour whise things look like this atm...

I'm a pretty big excel fanboy and try to keep track of almost everything. So as you can see on the image I keep track of 3 things:

ONLINE: Basically the hours I put in the online grind: A little over 13h right now. Let's keep in mind all this is pretty new to me (mixing live and online) and I also hadn't played online for over 4 months. But I must say I feel really good about my game right now, I would even dare to say I've been playing better than before. Right now I know I'm gonna just stick to NL400-1K and grind it out there and try to not even think about shottaking any higher stakes. It went wrong at the start of this year and this at the same time made me struggle mentally and because of this I play much worse. I don't need nor want to go through this again any time soon, I have live poker now to play the higher stakes and even there I will try to just stick to NL2K and NL5k and not innecesarily jump into the NL10k+ games. I mean as an example, let's use king10clubs again, this guy just grinds it out at NL600-1K and barely touches NL2K and much less any higher even though I heard somewhere he has something in the neighbourhood of 4M bankroll, and still he's one of the biggest winners year after year. That's what I want to do basically, grind it out on stakes where I feel comfortable, and avoid the variance of multistake, this way 1. I will face less swings, 2. play much better as I feel comfortable in my stakes. I will obv take my shots in very nice live games but that's about it.

LIVE: A little over 23 hours. That's not to bad, and also here I'm pretty happy with how I played. On the other side I've been quite disapointed with the games... can't wait to see how games will be in Prague.

STUDY: 14 hours. That's even more than I grinded online. This want always be like that, it's just that I've found many spots to look into lately and I just enjoy studying way to much.

For next week plan is to play 5 days of live poker, but I think it's more likely I play 4 days and probably switching one of the weekend day for online in order to have 3 full online grinding days and 4 live poker days (in which i'll also try to grind a little online session, but might not happen, who knows...). And my study plan is not clear yet, but will probably have nothing to do with what's on the excel. Everything above 30 hours of study is pretty good, and I hope to at least put 150 hours total work this month.

Tomorrow is the 550 monthly tournament which should have around 7-8k on top... Hourly will probably be pretty ****ty, but it's nice to change things up a little bit. In case I bust i'll just play live cashgames and if I win then everyhing is perfect hehe. On the other side i'll have to try to start putting in some GYM sessions soon but I just don't find the time at the moment!

Anyway that's all for the weekly recap!

So, lost the timbey... started pretty well but after that I was completely card dead and went out 14th with 9 being paid...

Anyway, will see what I do tomorrow on the last day of the month but will probably go for online pokerz and play live on wednesday again! Also tomorrow should be at least 2h study day!

Okay... so the "month" is over, but in my case not really as I only started this about 10 days ago... I basically had a small winning month of around 5k total combining chinese apps, live and online. Nothing to special and I hope I can get some nice results before leaving to Mexico.

So ended up playing around 16h online and 30h live in the past 10 days for a total of 46h and then studied another 16h for a gran total of 62h of work in the last 10 days which makes a little over 6hours a day, which isn't to bad but definetely can put in more hours.

The most important conclusion of the last days is that I feel like I played really good specially online as mentioned before even if I only played about 5k hands... I feel like there's no point in posting a 5k hands graph, so i will probably just post one before leaving to Mexico hoping to get at least a 15k hands sample.

Live poker honestly suck atm, and I really hope games improve soon, if not i'll have to travel more than initially planned...

Nice! Those site are probably the most +EV sites. Yes, games are quite decent on stars at least on midstakes.
Thanks!

vs aggro-ish reg... I mean there are many draws and few value hands, i'd be really surprised to see any 88-JJ raised there, so he basically has sets or 67s as value mainly and once that 6 hits on the turn he's value range is even smaller. Against some regs you expect all his draws to just call CB but this one for sure had some bluffs in his range so at this point with such a small value range I think it's pretty standard.

Played another session yesterday, a little 5/10/20, and lost 400 pounds, pretty much breakeven... man those games are bad lately, it really surprises me. I really think London has some of the toughest games in the world in this stakes.

I'm going to play online today and study a bit. Not sure about the weekend, i know i'll play either Friday or Saturday online, the day I don't play online i'll play live and live again on sunday.
