When I happen to be playing poker on particular days you can imagine the looks I get when I untwist a little silver cylinder from my keys and start gobling pills.

I find that saying something like "you guys want any?! :what:" Helps to ease the tension.

Was trying to keep my winning streak going, played in this ridiculously soft 2/5 today. eg:
- Q5o and Q2s no draw all in for a 300bbs pot on Q34
- open raise 50, called in 6 places
- open 125 over a blind raise of 15 and 2 calls, called in 4 places
- guy triple barrel on this scary board, the caller tries to bluff him on the river by putting him all in as only a min raise
- people checking back 77 and 99 on A79r 6 ways, 99 makes the minimum when shouldve played for stacks.

Nooope. Down a whole bunch in just a few hours and it was time to go home. Have you guys ever lost a big hand and then just go completely card dead for hours? That happens to me all the time, every time.

Leaving all that dead money on the table just makes me so sad

Do you guys believe in weird/interesting coincidences? I've recently had one that I just have to share.

Last night I dreamt about the times when I ate at this diner in a small town in NJ this summer, which was named after the small town. Today at work I got a client from the exact same small town (of 23k people), which is hundreds of miles away and had zero connections with us!

Regardless of how coincidences work, i think it was pretty cool.

I used to have those dreams all the time as a kid. Not so much anymore. Mine would be even more realistic, in my dreams there would be certain sequences of events, very short (ex: my friend parking in front of my house). That exact scenario would happen the next day or two. It's like déjà vu, but from dreaming it to reality. Or I could just be crazy. Tough thing to prove when you can't record your dreams. Oh well.

The other week my wife and stepdaughter had the exact same dream (um, not your dream... a different one that they shared, anyhoooo).

It's just coincidence. We do a zillion things in our life, we're bound to get that 1 in a zillion "miracle" coincidence every once and a while.

5/5 1k max. Pretty nitty table, mostly reg pros/reg fish. H is new to the table.

KK. I raise to 25 in the HJ after a fish limps from MP. Older guy (seems like a nitty older guy nursing a short stack of about 350 but i dont remember playing with him much so no reads) calls from the sb. Fish calls, 3 ways to the flop, i cover both players.

Flop ($80): Q67r. Sb checks, fish donks out 35 with 400ish behind. I just call (because Im way good here and he will value own himself/spew if given the chance, plus he's pretty short so i can gii by the river), and sb also calls.

Turn (185): 8, back door clubs draw (i have no blocker). Sb open shoves all in for about $290. Fish folds pretty quickly. Me?
