Yesterday I took a different approach wrt multi-tabling. I threw my max 9 tables limit out of the window and basically my setup was built up like this:
Upper left corner stack of stars timbeys early/not very interesting so far
Bottom left corner stack of stars timbeys interesting ones
Then built rest of the tables around that, with usally eurosites and deep runs on stars

It's pbb an approach I'm going to take with the new stars schedule as well, since I will be putting in more volume again on stars. Don't think it necessarily hurt my EV that much, in fact I even played 'looser' than ever on sunday stats-wise. Didn't have much runs, but got the pain in the end anyway by busting 16th in party major. It's a timbey I've come in so deep so many times already, but just always seem to fall short in the end. Think I played very well throughout the tournament (and my session too) so at least there's that. Remember a few interesting ones happening very short after each other. All 3 are def debatable, and not in love with any of them really.

this one was against doug polk fwiw

****ing awkward stacksizes basically in all 3 of them.

Anywayyy, despite the dissapointment yesterday, I actually really look forward to grinding the new stars schedule. As I said, I'll be putting in quite some volume on stars again, and reduce ipoker (for sure) and party somewhat. There are so many good midstakes opportunities now, where I'll basically should be printing money. Hopefully gonna play an evening session tonight, but I'll first have to take care of some schoolwork (basically groupworks)

Oh sorry, forgot to reply to this one!

I don't know yet, with the new schedule, I feel like turbos (regular ones, not hots) might actually have a better structure now, so perhaps I'll still play a few. Yesterday I played 3/37 turbo's total fwiw, played the 27 turbo prog ko, 16.5 turbo and the 27 turbo prog ko 6max as well. I'll pbb keep playing the super value juicy turbo's (such as) but won't during peakhours bc it distracts too much and it isn't worth the few $ you are making. Will play a few towards end or at start of session I guess. As I said, I'll have to find my way through the new schedule still.

Wrt piosolver, I've bought the basic version I believe, which was 250$. It solves pretty much anything but preflop spots I believe. You have a free version you could try out first as well. The free version doesn't solve flop spots though, which are imho the most interesting and the reason why I bought Pio in the first place. It's also a good tool to compose your range/be more aware of range (advantages/disavantages) etc so yeah I think it's worth his money if you only pay 250$ for a lifetime.

Thx mate, I like your blog as well, glgl

*warning* rant incoming*

Geez so frustrated right now. Was huuuge chipleader in both the 22r & 55 counterpunch on party (but like huge 450k in bb3k & 2 mil in bb20k @last 2 tabs) and I finished ****ing 5th & 6th again. Super super annoying. In the 22r I lost 2 huge showdowns where I was a 70 & 80% favorite which is whatever, but especially that 55 counterpunch was immensely frustrating. Every open was met with resistance, basically no single cbet got through, I didn't flop anything, had to give up, the few 3bet spots I picked got 4b shoved on etc. Runs like those make you really feel like you are **** at this game lol

Also got 12th in a 44 psko on stars as well, which didn't come as a surprise bc stars is rigged as ****

*ITS SAFE NOW RANT IS OVER*

Anyway, I was really excited about the stars schedule at first but I am coming back on that opinion having played two small sessions on monday & today. There are wayyy too many turbos/hypers & 6maxes all the time compared to decent regspeed tournaments. Sure, in the old schedule they weren't so many either, but I really mis tournaments such as the 11r, 13.5ko 8cubed 11cubed and all these alike timbeys to fill up my space. Instead, I now feel I either have the choice to play a big/bounty builder or a 6max psko if I want to play regspeed only. And then structure in bigs so far is terrible as well. Really hate it, and where I felt so sure I was gonna drop ipoker client pretty much, I'll pbb revisit on that although their new software is terrible as **** as well. Seems to crash almost 1/2 times a evening, and is just really unstable in general. Tough life not being able to grind on french sites/888 etc

I find myself enjoying these tournaments on partypoker much more, and I really hope the fields can grow there & they can perhaps add somewhat more variety in the schedule as well. Think they are doing an awesome job lately, and I'd recommend anyone to play on partypoker. Structures are awesome, decent guarenteeds, ok'ish player fields etc

Thx for the reply's on the previous hands, I really appreciate that Ralph & blakk. I agree with both of you. Thought it were tough spots bc of the awkward eff stacksize in all 3 of them. I think I perhaps should have upped sizing against doug too in that first hand with my range if he's capable of x/r bluffing me (which he did with the ac3x fwiw ) there

Got a few more hands from this session.

First one is against 'dadowiec' @the 109 uppercut on partypoker. We don't have much history so far on that site, so I think he kind of perceives me as an unknown or don't care at least too much so that's why I elected to flat instead of 3b/c which is also a viable option ofcourse. I don't know ugly spot really, His sizing is so ughhh. Felt really value'y' to me

Started playing at 2pm, got in 50 games, sunrunned a bowl on party pretty hard before only loosing headsup to a fun player who somehow managed to run even hotter. that one saved the day, however this one hurts pretty bad again last 30 of party major (yeah same as last week lol)

for pretty big chiplead (1st had about 2.7 mil zzzz)
How many of these showdowns can one lose really?

Satisfied with my play again though, have played really well but unfortunately that doesn't buy you anything. Have to start studying (and pretty hard too) starting from tmrw for school. Have slacked so bad past couple of weeks, and will really need to make up for that now. 100% not playing till next sunday. Peace.

Hey guys, whatsup. Have been doing a lot of studying this week, mainly for school. Achieved basically all the goals I had set (including finishing 2 group tasks) for school so I now can play a big session tmrw without any guilt. ^^ Tmrw is also mother's day in Belgium (I dno about the rest of the world?) so I'll first have dinner and will pbb start playing around 4-5pm then. Super excited for this big sunday. It feels like I have improved my game so much again if I look back at it from 6 months ago. The work I've been doing lately with piosolver is super interesting, but I've also tweaked some things who seem to be working quite well so far. I wish everyone the best of luck during scoop!

Delighted to see so many cool mtt pgc's being started lately by the way. Really awesome.

First day is done. Was playing well & was in a really good mindset until I got in a really awkward spot in the warmup, where I bitched out and folded topset (3b pot board ran out j75hhx4h6 and villain barreled it off) So that really got to me for a moment, esp with my friends 'trolling' and teasing me about that hand on skype lol. Was able to pick it up pretty quick again however. Cashed warmup with a decent amount of bounties in the end, busted pretty annoying though by some kind of clown-play from villain for a ok'ish stack but **** happens. Had also deep runs in the stack & 109 drago on party, fired 4 bullets for that GPT 109 party timbey, bricked all 4 haha, however we managed to find some heat in the end to win our first Ipops event ever.

Took down a 50fo 30k gtd for a little over 6k$. Feels amazing to win a timbey outright again. Was chipleading it for quite a while, went to ft 7/9 though, laddered very nicely and then played & run well. Rekt one guy pretty bad. HU was looking like it was gonna be a walk in the park, had villain down to 10bb's rather fast got it in with k8 vs q8 river q and then an epic hu began. He fought himself back, I was running pretty bad postflop all of the sudden, but in the end I just sunrunned 3 showdowns in a row to fnish it lmao.

Dem winning sundays kids, we should cherish them. btw, super annoyed by latest pt4 updates, which causes pt4 to crash every 5 minutes. I had to restart pt4 for like 15 times during my session, which was both nefast for my focus as well as my mindset. Was also not able to mark as much hands as I wanted/if any hands meh. really hope they fix that soon.

These were those 2 hands. Such a goofy line in that 2nd one, worked though lol

Good first sunday. Unfortunately I'll pbb won't be able to play again till next sunday, might squeeze in one session this week, we will see how school etc is going. Super happy with the outright win though. Despite a few spots I played not so good, also really happy with my game.

Hope you all had a good sunday, and I'll see you at the felt again on sunday for sure.

So today's session started out pretty brutal. For the first hours, I faced a ton of ridicilous spots, got x/r in most impossible spots etc so that was very frustrating, however I was able to keep my cool and kept playing (what I believed at least) solid. It's easy to think you are just playing bad if nothings goes your way, but I was really trying to take a neutral standpoint at every spot. In the end, I managed to build some stacks. Had heaps in the mini thrill at one point, but that one fizzled out. HOWEVER we were able to run our stack up in the uppercut, ladder from 9/9 to chop it headsup for a little over 12k$. Super happy obviously, since I've come close so many times already this year (and also in the uppercut in particular hehe)

Too tired to react to comments now, will do tmrw. Have to catch an alarm in 3 hours geez. Presentation for school. Holaaa
