Hello 2+2,

I had this thread before, which I just let die due to having no motivation to grind. My SN is FazendeiroBH and I only play on pokerstars.

Anyway, I finally learned how to beat 5NL and am confident that Iīm a winner at 10NL also. As I said on my last thread, I will quit my job at January 2017 and live of my investments. Iīm also planning to travel a lot more and have a serious shot at poker. Obviously I would not do this if I havenīt a big enough liferoll to sustain myself. Having no family and kids helps a lot also.

I will update this thread daily with graphs and some interesting (hopefully) hands. Below some graphs as proof that Iīm winning at the nanostakes (as if I had to prove this to anyone, but still... )

2NL:

5NL:

10NL:

Overall:

Winnings:

I am currently playing 5NL as my main game, took a shot at 10NL this weekend and will move to 10NL by October 1st. I would like to start taking shots at 16NL this year, and will do as soon as Iīm winning at 10NL over a big enough sample (100k hands is the minimum) and an acceptable winrate.

See you on the tables.

Do you usually play 4 tables at once? It's pretty impressive to see someone put in so much volume at 2nl, I haven't seen many graphs like that before. Good luck man, I'll be following!

Hey man, thanks. I play 12 tables at once. I tried to lower that to 6 and even 4 when I was running bad, but I didnīt see much difference and got bored quickly. I tried to move from 2NL many times but found 5NL way harder, so always ended up moving back to 2NL. That is the reason for this insane volume. Only now I really learned how to play against the 5NL pool. Also, I only play full ring, so itīs easier to multitable. Good luck to you too.

So, after having lost a little over 3 BIs, I decided to end my session because I was becoming frustrated. I will just sleep earlier today and try to play my best tomorrow. If this runbad continues, I might have to wait until next week to move up to 10NL, but letīs wait until tomorrow to make a decision.

If you have roll something like 1k start playing nl10-nl16 and if you are doing well move to nl16-nl25. mixing 2 stakes helps to do better table selection .Playing 200-300k hands nl2 nl5 ,when you have the roll, just to see if you can beat the game imo its waste of time if you can move higher. You will not have so big issues if you try fe @nl10 nl16 . Also imo try to play 8-10 tables and move to 6max where you can learn better the game, work on it off tables and have bigger edges. It can be way more interesting and fun to play 6max and imo you can be a ton better if you spend hours off tables work. Anyway good luck!

Running good today. Unfortunately Iīm too tired to keep playing. Hopefully I'll be able to play more hands tomorrow, since fridays and saturdays usually are softer.

Giannako.91: BR above 1400, so Iīm being a huge nit here. Since it really looks like Iīm beating 5NL, moving to 10NL seems the logical course. I might do what you suggested and mix with 16NL since most people say 10NL and 16NL plays the same way. And yes, I should work more on my game off the tables if I want to keep moving up. I donīt know if moving to 6max will be the best for myself, since I really enjoy full ring. I might try it someday but I will keep playing full ring for now. Thanks, and GL to you too.

Had some work related problems today and didnīt play my best in the evening session. I donīt know why Iīm letting this kind of stuff affect myself since I will be giving my 30-day notice at the first week of December, but I was really pissed off. The +EV move here would be to just quit poker and relax. Fortunately I realized how bad I was playing and quit before doing real damage to my BR.

Biggest winners:

Vs loose -passive player. I didnīt understand what he was doing on the turn, but think my river jam was ok since this kind of player would be calling with any K and any J. What do you think?

Villain stats are 12/11, 4.4 3b, 56% F3B and 1.6 AF over 687 hands. I think I should have checked behind this flop and folded to any significant agression on the turn, since this flop hits villainīs range almost always. Or maybe just get all in preflop. What do you think?

Played another short session yesterday and also played a little over 2k hands today. Less fish at the tables, but they were still good for the most part.
