Hello guys, welcome to my PGC thread!

I am a 22 y/o guy from Northern Europe and I'm going to be playing some online poker in the coming weeks/months. I thought I might as well share my journey with you guys...

I just quit my job to play poker, and I will update this thread regularly with hands/graphs

I'll be starting at nl25, and I'll be playing the 6max Zoom games on stars.
I might do a bigger introduction later on, or write about some non poker related life stuff, but for now I'll leave it at this, and will post some hands tomorrow as they happen during tomorrows grind.

Wish me luck

My plan in terms of bankroll management etc will be the following:

- I'll be starting at nl25
- I'll move up stakes when I have 30 bi for the upper stake (so I'll move to nl50 at $1500)
- I'll be down stakes when I have <20 bi for the current stake
- I'll check results every ten thousand hands

I'll be 4 tabling zoom, have yet to see how many hands/hour I'll get exactly but think it's about 750 (maybe more). I'm hoping that by only checking results every 10k hands I'll be more determined to grind knowing that a small milestone is always a few thousand hands away. Not checking results will also help me focus during sessions and I will be less likely to tilt. I need to have a somewhat conservative bankroll management instead though, since I'm checking results infrequently and need to be able to handle bigger swings without moving down, but I think that it will be beneficial in the long run.

The plan for today is just to play a good amount of poker. It's 10am right now and I just woke up 20 minutes ago, my roommates just left the house and won't be back until like 4am, so I have the whole day to grind with no distractions. I'll be hitting the gym at some point and spending some time cooking, other than that I have no excuses that can keep me away from the tables.

I'll hopefully have some interesting hands come up today, and I might post them as they happen or pile them up and post in one bulk. We'll see, and then after 10k hands I'll post my first graph. I doubt that will be today but you never know, hopefully I'll finish those first 10k hands no later than tomorrow.

Okay guys, I'm off to cook a small breakfast, and then I'll be hitting the tables

Wish me luck

Only managed about 3000 hands today. A little bit disappointed but 3k isn't too bad and I think with a bit better scheduling I'll be able to maintain 5k+ hands on "work" days. I also think I can reach close to 1000 hands/hour if I'm fully focused and playing fast.

Haven't checked results so not sure how the day went but think I won a few bi.

This hand should help with that

thoughts on this hand vs a reg with very high btn open (77%) over a small sample of 250 hands? Thought process was something like cr flop because he's super wide on the BTN and I have the Ah (can c/c flop as well?) turn keep barreling with the fd + nut blocker, and river barrel because of nut blocker

This hand is pretty lol, when he bets this size on the river I'm pretty sure I'm good but not sure how often he'll call a bigger raise with like AA etc. Thoughts on river? I figured I could probably make a small raise, could probably make it like 2.5x but decided to just minraise because whatevs

Decided to go with this one because figured it was a pretty awesome board for my range vs his, as I'm super comfortable with all my big overpairs on this board

I'll be shooting for at least 5k hands tomorrow. Gonna try to wake up a bit earlier and follow a pretty tight schedule. Not making any promises though It is friday after all Anyway thanks for reading, please comment on the hands and I'll be back tomorrow with more updates

            First 10k hands:

Volume has been pretty poor. I'm confident I can beat these stakes for a solid winrate if I keep playing and stay within a good mindset. Cba to find more hands to post right now as I really need to catch up on volume. Next update will be after 20k hands which hopefully will be on friday

            Later boiz
