Just in the middle of doing my Sunday morning routine of seeing which crushers have crushed what over the Sunday mtt's.

Pretty happy when I saw your name Gil. Seem to be a hard worker and deserving of the success. Gratz.

Ty Dan, means alot

Really sick Sunday with the Milly. Knew it couldn't be too bad when a rly decent Supernova reg does this vs me: http://www.boomplayer.com/en/poker-h...470_AB37E9649E

Was CL from about 100 out which felt a bit pressuring, and when 28 players were left I had an average FT stack. Blinded down a little due to tables being reaaaaaally shallow, so struggled to put on as much pressure as I would have liked.

Went into FT about 7/9 I believe, snap laddered to 8th. From then on all the way through had no more than 10 bigs. Got 4 handed, hovering around 5 bigs most of the time and tried to strike up a deal. ICM seemed decent but the CL who had $20k profit lifetime was demanding $5k off each of us which was never happening.

Jammed 22 UTG with 6bb, 7bb stack in the big which if it would have gotten through would have massively changed dynamics of the FT. Unfortunately the sb finds 1010 gg'ing us in 4th for $74k.

Was a bit anxious heading on to FT, just worrying I might do something that I would look back on as a regret but think more or less all spots I took were optimal so really happy with the grind. Back on it today, Mondays are the nuts.

Nice little write up from Pokernews:

Decided to grind on Monday as I planned on having tuesday off with it being a tougher day. Made a pretty spewy play when itm of the $8r and realised my head really wasn't in the right place for a full session, so stopped regging a little earlier than usual.

Had last night off for a bit of a celebratory meal with the gf which was v. nice after having reviewed a few spots in the stable. Definitely back to the grind today though, then the UKPC Main Event tomorrow live which is a tasty £1,000 £1milly gtd event, should be huuuuge.

Happy to move into the top 500 on PocketFives also, reaching a new best of #420!

Mincashed the absolute world on Wednesday before my big trip live:

Went off to DTD for the big £1k, saw a lot of faces that I have only really spoke to through Skype which was very nice, always feels like a super tight community at big events in the UK due to them being fairly irregular with everyone getting to DTD for them.

Pokerwise had chunks pretty early with some fairly ambitious lines, got from 50k starting to a peak of about 250k, even got a guy to somehow fold 22 on 242-Q-3 where my line mad zero sense, so sweated that one. From there lost a couple of std all ins then raise folded for a couple of hours with a guy 3betting me every spot and I didn't really have the hands to peel or fight back with so just folded a bunch. Eventually busted an hour before the end of Day 1, somewhat frustrating but a nice adventure out of my bedroom nevertheless.

Yesterday was one of my most annoying days in a looooooong time, just kept getting it in for chunks with KK/AA and not finding the win. Managed to find one sweat all night where we get to the bubble with 35bigs but then take off vs a guy who check raises K2 on 2105, I ended up jamming over his riv bet where the board is 2105-A-2, gg me.

Will be taking the day off today before a full grind Sunday, hopefully can re-enact some magic

Month in Review - Fun February!

Obviously with the Sunday Milly bink I had my best score and best month lifetime. I think every week I have reviewed at least twice a week which is positive, and I feel I have learnt something with every single review.

Hoping to push on from the Milly bink, despite the month being shorter and having to take a couple of days off for live donkaments and to recover from a late sunday, I still managed to hit 500 games played:

Year to date:

Garph of the year:

Look forward to Sunday, hopefully the heat continues

Sunday looked like we were going to make dreams happen and get the lot, however turned into a minor profit:

In Phoenix we went from 1/9 on FT to 8th losing 3 flips in the space of about 10 hands, in the MulT25 we had a CL pot eyed up where somehow we get a guy to 3b jam 15bb with 69s where we have QQ but dont hold 7 handed. Also finished 13th I think in the 888 Mega Deep for 1.2k or something, a pretty standard 5b rip with AQo into TT where I don't think we couldn't have made a different decision, despite being 45bb deep in a sick structured mtt.

Monday we ran dreadful on another FT, this time the Superstack again going from CL to losing all the flips. However it was all saved up for the $16.50 20k turbo where we did a win, had a fun ft vs two guys I kinda know, interesting hand 4 handed:

http://www.weaktight.com/h/54f67edba5251184628b5e04

is this a slowroll or not? 4 handed, 1.1k locked. What we know about villain is that hes rly nitty and pays loads of attention to ICM situations, he snap moved in. I took 20-30 seconds to call and he took off suggesting I slowrolled him and I'm apaz not as good as he thought if I'm not snapping there.

Finally started reviewing the milly today, solid early session with more things to work at despite being a reduced 90 minute review. Will take probs 5 or so reviews to get through it all.

Today had stacks and gave up stacks, annoyed at bubbling the 888 HR in a river spot I should perhaps fold although still a massive cooler as we 4bet QQ and get flatted by AA. came 3rd in the Tornado however for 1.8k which is nice, although annoying we lose AA<99 pre for dat CL 3 handed and to bust.

On a side note I'm over the moon I've finally peaked at over $200k profit lifetime!

i dont think its ever a slowroll if u dont have AA/KK pre. just take your time to think about every decision. who cares if u use half your timebank because u were at the fridge to grab a celebration beer or your kid is cryin and u almost time out.

if the guy think its a slowroll and it lets him tilt, his problem. you need to make the right call and taking time isnt a crime when u have a timebank to work with.

grats on your recent success man. seein u more at the tables now since i started playin more

gl sir
