I used to post to 2+2 a good amount under another account (dexytp) back before Black Friday, was quite active in the MTT Community and Health & Fitness. I don't know the email any longer so we making a new account, eyyyo!

I'm Tom, been playing poker since 2006. Played underage, got money transferred to pokerstars when I turned 18, 2nd in a 10r for 6k and then went onto focus on cash. Did well at 100NL for awhile, got the tourney itch again and got staked. Had a huge downswing, got black out drunk one night in the dorms in the beginning of 2008 and lost $12k. Oh my.

I withdrew everything, quit online poker after that and have sparsely played live in Vegas & Europe since.

Somehow stumbled upon some Twitch streamers playing poker and I got the bug again.

Deposited $300 on ACR in early March and bounced up and down for a bit, won a few small tournaments. Heard about Bovada and decided to deposit $500 on there. Did ok in MTTS, well in cash then I had a stellar week last week and was up over $3k from a few final tables and good cash results.

The Challenge

From April 8th to May 30th

• 1.5k MTTs
• 1k husngs/spin n gos
• 50k hands cash
• 8 hours of study each week

I'm going to be grinding hard and smart. Mostly playing cash on weekends and tourneys/sngs during the week. Planning on going to the WSOP around June 1st and I'm going to be ready.

Played about 30 tournaments today, I'll have my excel stats posted in a bit for the definite amounts.

Degen'd the $100 HU All-in tourney on Bovada. It was a 10k with 2k in overlay, didn't cash or luckbox sadly.

Hopefully I can ship one of my last tourneys!

Tourneys blew, decided to hit up some 50NL and a bit of 25NL 6max afterwards and the Bovada fish rang true:

I've got a big video project due for a client this week so I've been playing a lot less than normal.

Saturday I final tabled the $10 2.5k gtd on ACR and ended up losing a huge race KQ<JJ for the chiplead, it was a rather spewy ICM play and I've been putting a bunch of study into ICM over the last few days after this final table. Ended up 6th, but got a host from Jaime Staples and had 250 viewers for a bit. Had a ton of trolls, best comment: "You look like a ******ed Adam Levine." Appreciate the compliments Twitch trolls.

TONNES of deep runs on Sunday: 11/1100 in a Bovada 10k, 25/1300 in a Bovada, 12th in a hyper turbo 3k and one final table.

Final tabled my last tournament of the night, a $22 Turbo 3k GTD on ACR and finished 3rd for $475. Almost had that 1k up top but lost A2<J10 and 55<Q8, TURBOS YO. Also hit 150 viewers on Twitch, that was dope.

I've put in about 5k cash hands since my last post. Doin alright, but ACR is a bit more reg heavy than bovada. Going through HM2 and finding reg leaks/habits has done wonders though, definitely have to table select a bit better there.

ACR's OSS tourney series begins on the 16th and I'll be a grinding on Twitch.
