Feel free to keep updating, always interesting to see where people end up when replacing poker with other things

Enjoy your travels!

Your thread is a real inspiration! amazing work ethic
Hope you are doing fine!

Regarding the 3bet or fold strat on MP and CO, do you use some suited connectors as well (like 45s-67s, 9Ts-JTs) for board coverage, or just the top of the range, like big pairs and big broadways? Thanks!

whats up guys been a while since the last update. Im back home now from my travels, me and my poker friend went to Austria, Switzerland, Italy, germany, and ended our trip in Amsterdam. it was my first time in this part of Europe and it was a lot of fun. I did poorly with regards to taking pictures, but here is some from Zermatt, Switzerland. Its a small resort town in the mountains. people go there for skiing/hiking which you can do year round. Still haven't figured out how to post images so heres a bunch of gyazo links :P

Now onto poker, I played some while on vacation and won small. here is a update of my year. Its good to be above EV. Ive been playing more and more HU since there has been some decent action there, but my 6max results have staggered. Idk how some of the top guys can seem to play all the games at an expert level its been difficult for me.

whats up friends. ive been playing more heads up > 6max and also getting into tournaments. I hopped into hs tournaments on a couple diff sites and playing the good value stuff. Im up small overall bricked all the >1ks ive played but had a bittersweet 3rd place in a $540 to be up. My plan right now is to grind tournaments online to practice for live highrollers. For next year I have PCA booked and plan to hit all the ept stops

I realized bluffing that particular opponent was not a good idea lol. All hu hands are vs regs but that one was a bit of a station. about 2 months but I haven't strictly been playing hu. still doing 6max and now tournaments. What ive learned since getting to higherstakes, you must be flexible with gametypes and play several sites. Or else you just don't get to play

Whats up guys! writing up a end of year post a bit early, since ill be traveling to my hometown and spending time with family until new years. first up ill post the 2018 results.. just had worst session of my life at -35k and been on a bit of a downswing, but still all is well.

Online results
https://gyazo.com/ecc361a09fdf1ddb0e068624bbd93117
Live im +100k~ almost on the dot. I only have my results august on tracked though, since I broke my phone then and didn't back up the results. +15k mtt, +5k in 10/10/25 plo degening, and +80k in holdem my main game being 25/50 with some 10/20 and 50/100 sprinkled in. Only logged 250~ hours this year cuz I only play when I travel for mtt series
https://gyazo.com/10358cf7fbae33427704defaddb1b47b

overall I end 2018 +239k. Im immensely proud of how far Ive come, when the year started I was just a 200nl reg and now ive "made it". But when I made this thread, I said I wanted to get to 40knl and battle. Now my goals are starting to shift. After seeing the things going on in these live big field main events and highstakes cash games, pursuing online as my 100% focus just feels silly.

In 2019 im going to focus on trying to maximize my $$$ profits. This means traveling to all the major live mtt stops, learning plo, focusing on live highstake cash. On the side ill still play some online 1k/2knl but more to stay sharp instead of making it my primary income. As a poker player having more capital means the ability to make more money, so focusing on live poker makes the most sense. Getting rolled for the nosebleed games in vegas/asia is my top priority atm. You just cant get there online in the current online climate (unless you are linuslove)
