UTG: 190.46 BB
Hero (CO): 152.27 BB
BTN: 118.57 BB
SB: 100 BB
BB: 183.29 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T T

UTG raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 9 BB, fold, fold, fold, UTG calls 6 BB

Flop: (19.5 BB, 2 players) Q 5 6
UTG checks, Hero bets 6 BB, UTG calls 6 BB

Turn: (31.5 BB, 2 players) 9
UTG checks, Hero checks

River: (31.5 BB, 2 players) 8
UTG bets 27 BB, Hero raises to 137.27 BB and is all-in, fold

Hero wins 84.83 BB

Preflop standard 3bet, I wouldn't play any calls in these positions CU v MP. I play 0% call in all the positions except BB/BTN vs an open. I will have calls in SB vs minraises or bigger if theres a total fish in the BB. Anyway on flop this is just a standard range cbet. Q65r is a high ev board for the 3better.

On turn this is quite a bad turn. he will have all the 78s/99 and potentially Q9s so I will do a lot more checking 150bbs deep. Checking range would be something like TT/JJ/QTs/QJs/QQ/KcKx/AcAx/AKo/JTs. JT and AKo will be mixed I like to barrel AcKx here. River he bets nearly pot and this spot sucks range v range.

He has a lot more 77 then me but still need to find bluffs. TT without a club and with a diamond is the clear nut bluff hand. I prefer to use TT instead of JJ for bluffs just cuz its weaker and to have a system for myself so I dont overbluff. Sizing wise I just need to go all in and get the max value when I have JTs and my only bluff hand I need is TT. Villain tanked for a very long time and folded
Just stumbled upon this thread and am really enjoying it. Can you explain this part about the suits of your TT? I'm sure that it applies to villain's possible holdings given the cards on board and our suits limiting the likelihood he can call, but I'm struggling fill in the blanks. As someone who's never fooled around with solvers or engaged in much deep off-the-table analysis beyond running basic equity sims, I struggle to have these kinds of inferences.

Also, how would you recommend a n00b start learning solvers?

I think it's cause you don't want to block any of villains flush draws, and because heart and spade are out there you want them to have most chances for bdfd on flop to continue.

hey everyone sorry for not updating the thread for over a month. I realized how much free info I was giving away to regs I have to play vs regularly. Im not sure if I want to continue the thread, if I don't post some strategy/hands I feel like there's not much entertainment value but if I do those things then I hurt my winrate. Im posting a monthly update still but im not sure how much I will continue posting. Thanks to anyone still reading

I played a lot of live poker this month about 80~ hours and only 40 hours of online. My hourly still most likely higher online but it is fun to play with real chips and interact with the casino regs/degens

I won 31k live playing cash games, I don't have a graph because I just switched from android > iPhone X and lost my app You will just have to believe me. Online Im up 35k mostly at nl1k playing HU or 3 handed

+66k this month which has been unreal. Im extremely proud of myself for accomplishing this in under a year when I started at microstakes. Im also moving out of my parents house in 1-2 weeks life heater

did you buy preflop monker solutions or run them yourself ? I am just wondering if its worth spending time on running them or its better to just buy them.

here for my once a month update, did some travelling to florida for some good value live mtts + highstake cash games. On the tournament side, i fired the 5k twice and never made it to dinner break also fired some bullets in other smaller events, absolutely bricking everything. standard -12k

Cash games saved the trip I played a lot of 10/25 and 25/50 crushing it. Games can be unreal soft +32k. I even won my biggest pot ever

some big hand histories from my trip

$10/25/50 mandatory straddle. 15k eff
Hero opens JsJx EP $150, MP drunk rec calls and everyone folds
Pot 375 flop 553ss check, he bets 200 i xr 800 he calls
Pot 2k turn 4x i bet 1300 he raises to 3200 i call
Pot 8,4k river Jx (damn i run pure) he goes all in i call. he shows 56o

25/50 4 handed 17k eff with villain and biggest bluff of my life
i open Cu As9x 150 sb and bb both live pros call
Pot 450 flop Qc9s2c check check i bet 175 sb xr 750 bb fold and i call
Pot 2k turn 5s he bets 1350 i call
pot 3,7k river Ks he bets 3k i go all in 15k and he tanks forever and folds what I assume to be 22/99/JT ?

25/50 5k eff sicko opens utg 6 handed 150, btn call, i squeeze TT sb 800 he 4b 1600 I call
Pot 1,7k flop 832r i check jam vs small bet and lose to JJ

Some of my friends i talked with said my xr with JJ in hand 1 was bad because we were 300bb deep, but i dont think it can be bad against a recreational

Your'e friends thought the flop was the bad part? Why did you bet the turn? And why did you call the raise after betting the turn?
msnl to nosebleeds Quote
08-14-2018 , 12:17 PM
flop check raise looks totally fine, think we should mostly check turn though with JJ there but I don't think turn bet is too terrible, calling the raise however seems quite ambitious, doesn't feel like he's bluffing nearly enough and drawing to 2 outs is pretty meh, anyway you ran pure and won so grats
msnl to nosebleeds Quote
08-14-2018 , 01:01 PM
i agree with that analysis if its a reg, but this is a drunk recreational and getting 4,5 to 1 on the turn raise i cant bring myself to fold it :P

anyway getting back to the online grind tomorrow the plan is to shop around on some other sites to get 6~ tables for nl2k and avoid playing 1k and below
