Hi guys, long time no see, more than 2 years was the last time I’ve logged in. Took away some time from poker so I could get my head straight. Though I was a winning player, but was I happy(?) – no, I was a mess. I took away now 3 years to straighten up my mind – got back in studies, working, improved my health, and constantly working on it. Feeling much happier over-all, it was a good decision.

As I do have free time, besides studies(Construction), I decided to get back in grinding, but as a leisure, as there is nothing better to do, also extra pocket money would not be bad. So, after saw that Neymar promo on Poker Stars, 100$+25$...why not!?

As I do study full time, part-time occasional job, other interests, I’m looking forward for 20-40K hand volume a month, playing FR ZOOM, maybe will add some 6-max in the mix, as ceiling is just 25NL for FR.

Aim for this PGC is – personal log, and to get back in community. Will update results, once a week, though will browse these forums more often than that.

P.S. - After those losing sessions, decided to test out Poker Snowie app on Holdem Manager 2. Following instuctions, and it shows that ,, Uploaded hm2-upload-PokerStars-2017-2-5T19.40.6.zip. Queued for import. ''. And nothing happens further. Can somebody point out why and how to fix this?

FR Zoom is just Nitty as hell.. maybe you should adjust your ranges ..Maybe post your Stats by position so we can discuss what might be the reason for you to be unable to win..

I don't agree with this part. Games are very much alive and even I find that there's ton of fish and bad regs at 10-25NL zoom, esp in evenings.

Hit my targets. Could run better though, I know I play solid, ok, once in a while a bit spewy(Not thinking through well enaugh and not respecting micro-fishes), but very far from my c-game. Feeling a bit rusty also, found some adjustments that have to be made:

1) Play 3-tabling for this week
2) Review 2 hands each and single day.

Reviewing 2 hands a day is not enough. I would study more. Just grab the top 10 winning AND losing hands per session and review them.

I know, will try to do as much as I can obviously, but this is the bare minimum. As I've mentioned in OP - full time studies, part-time work, other interests. Will try to do my best, but there are much higher priorities atm, other than poker. Thank you for your input though Avizura.

Can anybody tell me a good, free odds calculator out there? Where you can also set up ranges?

Playing better, noticing poor play in many spots. Tilted a bit as well after some coolers, or suck-outs, need to work on that. Some of switches are starting to switch on, that rust from long abstince is real. I know that it will be alright, need to put in hours and shake off that rust.

Hey man, good thing about zoom from what I can remember when I dabbled, if you have a spot developing on a table that requires deeper thought you can just check "sitout next hand" on other tables whilst you work through that spot? Do you do this already?

Yes I do that a ton actually. Also if my time bank is low, I just press sit out on next bb and restart table.

Very busy day today, so I put in some hands yesterday. Feeling like most of the rust has fallen off, back in action.

I have enaugh roll(23 BI's, 8BI's pillow to wall, before moving down) for 10NL, evening games are very soft. So I'll stick to 10NL for now, hopefully will be grinding 25NL by the end of the month.
