200z was running so played that for a couple hours. People were playing super duper weird so field seemed soft. Unfortunately ran bad + played bad so resulted in a bad session down about 5bi. Will grind some more tonight though for sure. Going to take a break right now though.

What's your SN on Stars? Or are you staying anon? I rail 500z like everyday and some of the stuff there is pretty funky, like people call stacks off with 2nd pair medium kicker OTT and AKo is a std GII lol

It's something to do with how the bovada HHs are converted. They show up as stars.

Read through and subbed, BTW. GL.

Yep, I'm on Bovada.

Also forgot to update but did end up playing 200nl reg tables for a while. Broke even unfortunately despite getting into some good spots.
02-12-2016 , 11:08 AM
Played a few hours. Ran awfully again. Was doing 2 reg 200nl and 2 reg 100nl since there wasn't a lot of action. First 5 minutes I was down $500, lost w/ top boat vs. a straight flush. Pretty annoying day.

+$130 this session at least.... Shoulda been lots better.

Start reading your this thread while learning NLH. Just saw this hand and I am really confused by your play as Hero in the hand. Is that how no limit holdem should be played?

Preflop is pretty loose and other streets are also questionable to me...You continued the hand to the river because anything like "implied odds"?

This must be a fine play for deep stack. OP intends to bluff. What I am just asking is similar situation occurs so frequently and for all of them will OP bluff through (for this specific hand changed the plan to draw for odds of course)? How will he pick his spots for such play is what I am trying to understand and learn.

Pre is unbelievably atrocious and flop and turn are bad. Mason's got much better since that hand; I'm sure he'll agree it's not exactly WP.

I never thought it was a good play. Half the hands I posted in the beginning of the thread was to troll people but no one seemed to understand that.
    02-13-2016 , 07:37 PM
    Solid call pre with 54.

Lol I've don't this countless times, it's like, you got to the pre-drinks so you'll end up going out and coming home at 4am...

We called pre so have to call flop sizing, we turn a wheel draw so have to call turn, and we river the nuts so call the all in. Hand plays itself lolol
