Played a home game last night. 25c 25c 9 handed with some pretty awful players.
Anyways, I buy in for $40 and I'm like UTG +3 or something first hand (they don't make me post or anything), two limps and I look down to see my VERY FIRST hand... have A
A
I raise it up to $1.50 (should have gone bigger as you will see)... I get FIVE callers, FIVE.
Flop A
2
5
pot ~$9
UTG checks
UTG+2 bets $4 (he can have any A, some draws, 43s, 55/22 here based on past experience)
Well, I have top set and guy donked into me tiny... I decide to raise it up as a I think plenty of people will still call with flush draws and strong A behind me, I raise to $14
4 folds to UTG+2 who says after maybe 10 second pause.... well Mason... I'm all in.
Obviously I snap call and he has 4
3
and I don't hold up. Not a great start to the night.
Played for many 2 more hours making insane folds since people were basically nut peddling (kind of hard not to when flops go 6 ways).. I started making my opens to $2 (8bb) and still go 5-ways. Was mostly card dead and I just ended up leaving early as 9 handed was slow and 6-way flops were pretty boring and I was card dead and still kinda annoyed about my very first hand.
