04-18-2015 , 09:16 AM

Spoiler:
To claim your Royal Flush Bonus, email us at poker@bodog.eu or call 1-877-263-6422 (Toll Free) as soon as you can to provide your hand details. Please provide the hand number and table number.

Your hand number must be submitted within 48 hours of completion of your Royal Flush. Your bonus will be credited into your account within 48 hours.

Spoiler:
How it Works
You can win a Bad Beat Bonus for having aces full of kings (A, A, A, K, K) or better, and get beaten by Four of a Kind or better, depending on these rules:
1. Only real money Texas Hold ‘em cash games are eligible (not tournaments).
2. Both pocket cards must be used by both the losing and winning hand.
3. Three or more players must be dealt into the hand.
4. Both the winning and losing hand must go to showdown.
5. All hands must be played independently. If you reveal your hand or instruct others on how to act, you won't be eligible.
6. You must submit your hand number within 48 hours of playing it.

For most yes, for you it's much higher. I appreciate the humbleness but you absolutely destroy 100nl on Bovada. Many have said they think it's just pure run hot, and for some of it maybe, but for most of it, it is just you knowing how to exploit the weak players for maximum value.

By far one of my favorite threads on 2+2 and just keep Killin it.

max 1k bad beat

You gotta email or call them

They could of lowered the bad beat one to fullhouse of 8's or something if its maxed at 1k

@...l...

Yeah, I knew about it. I got the royal flush bonus twice in my first 50k hands on Bovada (they were literally like 5k hands apart) lol

@meale

50bb for royal flush bonus (use both cards)
100bb for Bad beat bonus (use both cards)

Whats next for me is to continuing to play casually whilst searching for a job. My other buddy who plays poker for a living asked me the other day what the chances of me attempting to do that were and I told him =<1%. Poker is a hobby, not a means to an end for me. There's some post somewhere talking about, "How to know you should try to play poker for a living" and the only way I'd do it is if I ended up making more money from poker than I expect to make from a job. Right now, just getting into a job out of college I expect to make 50-60k/year and double that in maybe 10 years. So, it's unlikely I'd be making more playing poker.

@usepokerplayer

maybe, I appreciate the follow and the support, thank you very much. I guess I didn't know people were following that closely, I guess I should post some more HH

                            I think the AK hand is a CB
                            K6s is a fold preflop
                            And thats 67s is a easy fold
                            But nice hands!!! Keep crushing!!
                            04-18-2015 , 04:53 PM
                            Did you have a read on the K2s hand like he was three betting alot?? Or is this zone..... Just kind of surprised i would think we could use alot better hands than K2s.....
                            04-18-2015 , 04:54 PM
                            Might just check 67s when we get a little SD value but thats just me.....

                            AK isn't a cbet vs the cally fish
                            K6s is an easy iso, the 3bet was small and the SB was a big fish too, so after i get raised its close
                            67s is a fold nowhere
                            Yes, I had a read with k2s, guy was 3betting/squeezing a lot.

                            no zone

                            like -400 today, so back to a 3k roll. Ran awful, but made a couple bad bluffs vs people that i shouldn't have been bluffing

                            The hands are pretty standard except K6s and 75s buttom flat. K6s is probably OK vs fish, but can you explain me why you flat a hand like 75s when 27bb's effective?

                            And +1 for river value town on 33 hand!

                            Yeah, I knew about it. I got the royal flush bonus twice in my first 50k hands on Bovada (they were literally like 5k hands apart) lol

                            @meale

                            @usepokerplayer

                            maybe, I appreciate the follow and the support, thank you very much. I guess I didn't know people were following that closely, I guess I should post some more HH
                            I don't think it's unrealistic for you to be making 6 figures off poker within a couple of years if you did it full time. What's his name is 'crushing Bovada midstakes' to pieces and making ridiculous dosh. I've tried to convince you to play poker professionally before, and I won't stop!

                            im sure I can accomplish anything as well, but I also want a family soon and stuff and poker would be high variance. Also, the truth is, I don't think I possess the mentality to grind 160+ hrs/month with poker

                            This is awful advice and this is nothing against OP. Going "professional" playing online poker from any country, especially from the USA, is completely ******ed. His earning potential is ridiculously higher in the career path that he is on, and its waaay more stable than online poker. Ppl think making 100k is a lot of money , and its really not when you think about lifetime income of ppl who work at normal jobs and the fact that it is unlikely you can just print 100k a year for the next 30 years in poker. So even though you make more money in the front end of poker, in the long run working at some normal job will make you more money.

                            also remember that 99% of regs making 100k+ are grinding 9hrs+ a day = drained brain = lifeless = suicide is better

                            poker is a great 2-4hrs a day sideincome

                            The way a lot of these assumptions about poker as a living are explained are pretty poor, ultimately though Brokenstars has a good grasp on it. It's not a stable lifestyle. Most pros I know, tend to live pretty similarly to myself, moving every 6-12 months, never really settling anywhere. It's a fun ride, and incredibly worth it if you're young and looking for an adventure. But if you're at the point in your life where you desire stability in any way shape or form, treating poker as a hobby is the smart move.

                            There are absolutely a lot of 100k+ guys who play 100 or less hours per month. I know quite a few, though I'm not on that level yet. Depending on your skills, desires, and approach there are a lot of different ways poker can shape up as a career, but ultimately stability is not something that poker brings.

                            A lot of things in life are a grind, poker income isn't guaranteed though. Some people can handle it, others can't. I probably wouldn't be able to handle it, which is why I work for a living.
