My friend played a few k hand on my account to test it last month

55$/1k hand
there's no way you pay 120$/1k hand in rake at bovada. I play at a site with 5.5% rake capped at 5.5$ per pot at nl100-200 and even i pay less than 12bb

bovada is 3$ 0.5% and it lowers if its 4-5 handed or hu

edit: just checked bodog.eu/stars.com sites and you pay the exact rake. Comes to 4.5 to 5.5bb depending on play style

I'll post what my total rake paid is and # of hands when i get home, but its like 11-12bb/100 for me at 100nl
04-16-2015 , 06:46 PM
Bodog/Bovada's not got high rake, ...|... plays on sites with 10bb/100 rake at 200NL and 1 fish for every 30 regs despite access to sites with better software, lower rake, worse regs and more fish (according to him at least).

fwiw I doubt you pay 11bb/100 at 200 if there's a rake cap.
04-16-2015 , 06:55 PM
to pay 12bb rake with a 3$ 5% cap you'd need to play 80$+ pots more than half your hands. You pay the exact rake as stars.

here my friend, thats what 10-12bb rake look like.

add to that bbj .50cent @ 20% rake

im coming to bodog. :>

good we can always use another bad reg

Total hands at 100nl = 32,250
Total Rake Attributed = $3,708.28

Rake/hands = 32,250 hands/$3,708.28 = 0.115 $/hand =

11.5bb/100 hands

Let me know if I made a mistake of course... It may be possible that its counted incorrectly on the PT4?

bovada uses contributed rake, you need to switch.

unless you play 40 vpip it's impossible to hit that much rake with a 3$ cap(like i said previously i have a 5.5 cap and i rake a bit under that even including HU where its still capped at 5.5)

If im wrong here, bovada is abusing you and only you because i have 400nl players under me and they rake exactly that (120/1k hand)

sick winrate though. Even if soft, takes a lot to keep it that high without spewing away here and there. Lots of hu bumhunter have lower than that lol. 37$ hourly is great.

When I played on ACR, if I was BB and it was folded to SB and SB limped and I checked my option, pot would be $0.50. SB checks, I bet, SB folds, I win a pot of $0.23, less than half of the original pot due to the beast/bbj. From what I remember the players at those stakes were all mostly multi-tabling regs that were grinding RB+Beast. They would call a 3xbb pre, then play fit or fold post flop for the most part. Their stats averaging around 18-22vpip and 3b% of around 5%. Putting in 10k hands a month probably isn't enough volume to place in the beast race, and to place high to where you would actually get your money back from the beast/bbj rake you need to put in a lot more volume, which is why I mentioned it to brokenstars since he hasn't been getting in volume lately.

My vpip is 31.09 over these hands.

New calculation would be $3,468.32/32250 =

10.7bb/100

Surely, my more LAG style wouldn't yield 2x rake? What is the difference between attributed and contributed?

It's most likely just PT4 bugging. Look at the website: you rake the same as on stars. No one pays 10bb in rake or all 100nl regs would be SNE
04-17-2015 , 02:51 PM
Could be the HH converter.... it converts Bovada's HH to a Pokerstars version
04-17-2015 , 03:25 PM
ahh yes the ace solution converter is buggy

You think 100NL regs play 2m hands/year?
04-17-2015 , 05:36 PM
Well, up like 600 or 700 in cash games last couple days. Just grinded for a couple hours and made a couple hundy

BR: $3,267

Nice!
04-17-2015 , 06:46 PM
trying to hit that 50$ hourly at 100?
04-18-2015 , 01:03 AM
No, I think something like $15-20 is more realistic. Just doing good so far.
04-18-2015 , 03:04 AM
Good to see you back playing, I've been lazy. Haven't played very much since April.
04-18-2015 , 04:41 AM
roll is at like $3,400, played some more and won some.
04-18-2015 , 08:39 AM
i dont know.. 150 hrs @ expected EV for 37$... If you keep table selecting good like you did on the stream its very possible to keep at least 30-35

your winarte is only 8.5ptbb. That's low compared to old party winrates and your 100nl tables are kind of close to those games
