I would guess super user (internal, easy to detect) would be far less likely than bots/collusive activity (external, depending on advancements and security infrastructure, more difficult to detect).
Remember, it is in the websites best interest to catch cheats, as they are parasites on the flow of money. But what resources they commit to this, we can only guess. The banking/credit card hacks of recent years demonstrate how ignorant/lazy even well established institutions are when it comes to reasonable protection of their customers.
Finally, even if cheating is prevalent, the games are still beatable. If there was direct evidence of bottling at iggy, I’d still play, because my winrate is still positive. If it exists, its just a different kind of rake...for the time being at least.
