There's more hh... This went on for like an hour. When I first joined the pool he had 6.5k stack and open shoved 69 suited like 200bb deep with someone else pre. He cashed that out and kept buying in for $500 at a time. There were only like 8 entrants in the pool at the time... so it was like 3 regs and this guy.

Thanks for posting those HHs, made my morning. Any updates on the job situation? Are you starting to look for anything or still using poker as source of income? I’m sure it’s been nice being your own boss (minus the fiancé) the last couple of months.

I haven't been looking at all. My hourly with poker since quitting is nearly 4x what I was getting so I'm happy sticking with poker for the time being.

I haven't been looking at all. My hourly with poker since quitting is nearly 4x what I was getting so I'm happy sticking with poker for the time being.
This is fishy **** unless reasons?

                        edit - long term etc

What is it stopping you doing? The way it was phrased was as if you had something else to do.

                        I still don't understand what you're asking.

                        Maybe I misunderstood.

You were looking for a job even based on good poker winnings. Now you have won a little bit and stopped? What made your expectation of looking for a job worse? I'm assuming it's not poker vs minimum wage stacking shelves.

                        Are you new to thread?

                        Cliffs

                        - I'm 25 and have a bachelor's in materials engineering/ minor in biomedical engineering
                        - I worked in a position making ~60k/yr for 2 yrs
                        - I live with my now fiance (she works full time and can cover all our expenses)
                        - I hated my job so much I decided to quit abruptly and jus try poker/maybe look for a job
                        - First month as a "poker pro" made >$20k -- not really concerned with looking for a job now
                        - I have a lot of money saved
                        - Don't really plan on looking for a job atm ... will reevaluate at end of year

I said a long time ago in this thread I would never consider playing poker full time unless I had a 10k month. First 10k month was over 2 years ago now and my first month I legit got poker volume I made over $20k. I still don't want to play poker as a living forever, but for the short term (6month - 24month) it seems OK with the current info I have.
