I think some of the posts are a little ridiculous. Broken has had this thread up since 2015 so accusing him of being lazy is somewhat ridiculous. He also has no obligation to stream unless you guys are donating and subscribing at a reasonable rate.

A lot of the posts are haters or trolls but some are just sincere advice to an exceptional player to maybe try and grind some money up while it’s still easy pickings and to have a pretty sick nest egg by 30, instead of drinking and playing video games.

Some might call it unsolicited advice. I’d call it regret/nostalgia being passed onto the next generation for the same mistakes not to be replicated, though, since I was once the 25 year old playing video games and drinking and living off of “savings” and ignoring older nit advice...I know that this is some kind of crazy cycle that must just go on to eternity.
However I really do like this point by Avaritia. Troll/hate/serious advice or whatever it may be, when someone calls me out or in my thread it always reminds me of the fantastic opportunity I currently have. Not many people can say they are their own boss and earn a decent rate of income. Even though most of the call outs are done in an negative way it keeps me accountable. The last 2 weeks my volume has been trash. I am also expecting a lot of people to call me out when I next post my 2 week volume data. This is the main reason I started a thread so I would feel embarrassed when I missed my targets and discourage me from screwing around.

As much as I dislike seeing hate posts because it derails the quality of the thread I think they are somewhat beneficial for Broken as it gives him an opportunity to re evaluate his current position with poker and streaming. Like Avaritia says, most of the time they are genuine pieces of advice.

Anyway sounds like you doing well Broken and hope to see you back in the streets soon. Although Akholic makes a good point about one less tough reg in the pool so take your time hahahaha

Pretty sure only I commented on this and I was just busting Broken's balls and I'm sure he realized that.

Subs cant really complain cause its $5 for one, and for two they had access to all the past vids (which is worth >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $5).

But in either case, I'll stream some tomorrow probably.

Great to see you back on the stream grind yesterday, I watched on and off for a bit and saw you between $200-400ish stacks then I left for about half hour and come back to pretty much both $1k+ stacks per usual crushing the pool. Wouldn't be surprised to see if u won at least 8+ BIs last night. Anyways hopefully will see you streaming more often and get back into the swing of things. GLGL

I feel ya. I'm on a 0 for 11 on my last 11 sessions. Pool has been playing wild lately. Not a good combo when running bad. Hoping to get back in the + myself today. Getting 3b every hand so far so looks like it could be a good day .

Bummed I missed your last stream. Hope to catch the next one.

Will be streaming within next hr or so

internet keeps dcing and reconnecting every 5 mins so can't play atm. This has never happened to me before, so not sure what is causing it. I'll try again in an hr or two.

Interent started being fine pretty late and I got in another couple hours of Vol off stream but it was pretty awful. A lot of all is with overpairs vs sets or strong equity hands vs overpairs or nearly 2nd nut vs nut type stuff. Definitely the wrong side of variance. Was around

-1200

Did a small amount of short hand 500z too

Got in some more hands of 200z today playing short handed in a small pool with basically almost all big whales. Unfortunately, ran quite poorly for the third day in a row with some very very poor run outs and ended up breaking even when it could have very easily been $1k + sess.

nonexistent, ive done 2 in the last like 10 days.

Ah, come on now, 30 minutes for 3 days a week isn't too much to ask of yourself. Only hurts for a little while.
06-26-2018 , 12:16 PM
Yeah I know. I really need to stick to it and be consistent. Schedules and explicit rules aren't quite my strong suit, though.

I just work out to a video thing @ home. I need to lose weight. I've been drinking significantly less since quitting my job so that's a plus, but I'm also not burning any calories sitting at home all day, so definitely need to build in some cardio work out for 30-60mins a day.

Buy one of those cheap but sturdy recumbent exercise bikes off amazon (if you have the room for it) and then you can just ride it while you watch tv or play poker at home.
