I'm looking to build some money up, First "challenge" is for February. My goal is to play 25k hands at the cash games (win @ 5/100) and 225 MTT's ( 15% ROI) playing all on BoV. My second part of the goal is to play 24 hours thought the month playing at my local casino (Win @ 15/100) I know its a small amount of volume for a goal but I think it will be fun. anyone have any thoughts? good or bad lol

Pick cash or MTT. Don't mix both if you're learning. Also your goals shouldn't be results oriented over a 25k/225 sample.

It's fine to mix cash and mtt's. Especially assuming you don't play high stakes. Focus your study on cash stuff imo. The post flop edge should carry you through mtt's.

The goals are doable, but you should know that profit/winrate goals are largely pointless especially for a month.

Setting winrate/monetary goals is a mistake.

yeah I feels ya on that playa, its just the skinnies on a much larger goal tho. Just trying to make it more interesting to some viewers by breaking it up, thust giving them a good inside look at the variance that comes along with the slow steady grind. I will eather crush or get crushed on the goal. lol...... Fun right?

Sometime in November of last year my laptop was having issues and I found out I needed to replace the hard drive. I had a friend of mine recently replace it and get windows 7 on it. I finally got my laptop working, which I generally use to play poker during my classes.

Just had my first in-class poker session in a while, was playing for around 50 minutes 1-tabling 200nl in my Bio engineering class.
