Hearthstone is great! magic the gathering too, but it's expensive to buy a competitive deck

quit league asap the biggest timesink waste game ever (this is coming from ex challenger player)

pubg doesn't really have a ladder but it can be pretty competitive and has some rng aspects similar to poker you might enjoy

or my personal favourite old school rs

1)Chess. 2)Settlers of Catan

The problem with chess is that after a certain point you really have to start investing a lot of hours each week to improve your rating. Catan I find to be fun, competitive and only slightly addictive. Seems like a candidate for what you might be looking for.

These questions are so silly. The object of poker is to make money.

Tom Dwan is better at poker than the top $500NL zoom pool. That isn't saying he could actually beat $500NL zoom. But he makes significantly more money than them. And that is the end goal of poker.
