Well, it's not you can't table select at all, they just made it much more of a hassle.

Ran awful at first, lost a flip, but buckled down and got it in good and finally won.

Re: Moving up and grinding a decent roll on Bovada. Possibly future career?

I just read pretty much the entire thread and all I saw was, - xxx Ran so bad, fish get so lucky
Then +xxx Ran good, Big hands holded, flopped sets.
The things you should be worrying about is how was your game, did you play your A game B game C game? How was your mental game, did you tilt? Loosing a hand vs a weaker player threw you off your game?
Did I make the correct decisions?
Instead Is all results and luck oriented (coolers, under EV, 2 outers, good/bad runouts)
Hope this helps and you take it the right way.
Best of luck!

Hahaha so true, it's hard not to be results oriented.

What games are you playing? 2/4? or 1/2?

Playing 2/4 now or at least I try to. Latest changes make it a bit more difficult to find good 2/4 tables.

Man was down 1300 at one point. Ran into Aces in key spots where I had decent/very good equity against villain's range and I ran into Aces and they held. Don't think I played poorly just ran into very top of people's ranges.

Wow, ran incredibly bad in 3 bet pots as I got horrendous run outs and the fishies made absolute horrid calls but hit their cards. Example, I'm UTG with KK I raise 3x, fish min 3 bets to 5x, I 4 bet to 20x as we were 155 bbs or so, fish calls. Flop is T66 rainbow, I cbet 1/3 pot, fish calls. Turn is a J blank. I bet half pot, fish calls. River is an ace. I check, fish check back with AJ off. Wow. I'll take those calls all the time, but man when you're running bad it stings. I think I played as well as I could given the circumstances.

Yea, gonna go on a break, had a guy call a 3 bet with 82cc and proceeded to donk into me on a J74 with no club flop and hit runner runner to get a straight. Another one AQ runner runnered a straight when I had top 2 on the flop with AK. Both happened on zone. I know I sound like a tin foil hat guy, but I've seen some stupid s*** on zone and I've played quite a few hands on there. I got so pissed and angry that I broke my headphones. With the recent site changes and just seeing this all the time, I'm pretty close to calling it quits.

Just putting my results up for April. Ran bad even though EV line doesn't show it. Doesn't show the many rivers that got hit against me. Happens.

Re: Moving up and grinding a decent roll on Bovada. Possibly future career?

Well I'm back after a two week break.

Yesterday:
Start: 10843.80+30 Gambling win.
End: 11170.80
Profit: 297

Today:
Start: 11170.80
End: 10798.85
Loss: (-371.95)

Ran pretty poorly today. Ran into top set vs middle set, ran into Aces, and had Aces cracked twice, once all in pre flop too vs KK. Played very well, but the results weren't there.

Man, Ignition needs to stop giving my opponents awesome turn and river cards. I think I played well and got maximum value, but my opponents called with mid or bottom pair and it pairs and I think that's a good card but nope, they have it.

Try not to get too hung up on other people's FB dream lives. It's mostly BS. I'm 32 and just got married a month ago and still don't have any kids. Not even sure if I want kids.

If you're not happy with your life the way it is figure out what you want and make a goals list. Short term and long term. Like 1 year goals and 5 year goals. Start figuring out what it will take to achieve those goals.

Good luck man

Do you use HM1? For some reason it skips alot of my hands from the hand converter and throws off my results. Wondering if you ever run into same problem.

I originally skipped your spoiler but for whatever reason came back and read it.

I'm shocked by how similar it is to my situation. It looks like something I wrote about myself.

I can't answer any of your questions or lend any advice obviously but thought you knowing that there are others in exactly the same situation might help.

32 here btw.

I'll be 30 in August. I don't really see my life being that spectacular as well. Every day is a new day though so I don't take things for granted.

Some 18 year old tourist just got mowed down in New York and lost her life. I'm thankful to be here today.

Re: Moving up and grinding a decent roll on Bovada. Possibly future career?

Don't compare your life to others. For everyone wishing they were married there is someone wishing they had waited and was still single.

Right now some 32 year old with 2 kids, married at 25, house, garage etc is laying in bed wishing he had your life. Wishing he didn't have kids, wife, responsibility. Wishing he could pick up and go at a moments notice. While you are daydreaming about his life, he is day dreaming about yours. Again, there will never be a perfect life.

Society places bull**** requirements a such as when you should marry, have kids, get a house etc. u have to decide if ur gonna live your life or the life society tells you that I have to live.

The grass is always greener on the other side. That is one of the truest statements of all time.

Three things you shouldn't do early: Getting married, have kids, and buying a house. You are on the right track bro. Also what kind of friend brags about his salary on his facebook?

Kinda disagree with the buying a house part. I bought a house when I was 23. Gotta pay rent to somebody. At least I have >$60k in equity just from paying my rent basically. Probably the best decision I've ever made.

I feel like a dick now. Sometimes I would post about my stock gains on social media.

Yeah, I'm probably opinionated on that one (probably all of them). I should've said "Based on my experience ...." on my post. My rationale was that unless you have money to buy a house in cash, you're always paying someone to live whether it be to a landlord or bank (in the form of mortgage interest) + maintenance. Also there are so many things that needs to be taken care of with owning a home. Obviously there are pros of home ownership but renting seems to be a very fine option for me at this time of my life (33, married, have 1 kid). If I could go back in time, I would just dump the down payment in index fund and still rent my old tiny 1 bedroom apt until I cant bear it anymore=)
