Welp looks like I'm moving back down to NL100. I was doing great but then started making bad/terrible light calls against aggro tards. I have to learn how to let good hands go, but I feel the aggro tards are making semi-bluffs on me. Now I wish I took that staking offer xD.

So I did some review HHs after my session, and I'm just running really awful as well. Tilt + awful board runouts + getting it in and running way below EV ='s BR destruction.

I would really call your downswing bankroll destruction. It's really only a few buy ins at 200nl. You still have a plenty healthy bankroll.

Not a bad idea to move down. Build up some confidence back. Move back and forth between both stakes until moving up sticks...

Good luck

Sigh, run bad continues. Everyone hitting sets and naked flush draws against me while I can't hit with flush, over, gutter combos. MBN.

Still running bad, here's the graph of my month of December and year. December just killed my profit for the year.

December:

Year:

I made 1 dollar an hour lol. Ran way under EV as well.

I've been playing 200nl and 100 4 tables over the holidays while I've been out of town. What times you playing and days? Keep your head up playing 200nl on bovada 1k swings are normal

I usually play 8-10 pm weeknights PST and more hours during weekends. Thanks for the encouragement.

Finally had a winning session which is nice. Ran KK into a AA against a super aggro fish, but still came out ahead.

Finally had a chance to play. Last week was busy due to school and the recent Bovada update seemed to screw things up for Bovada. The client does seem a bit slower and the graphics look like something from the mid-late 90s but it appears the cards are dealt faster. The font is a bit harder to read but it's not too bad, the client is a bit buggier for me, I accidentally almost went all in a couple of times, but I stopped myself from hitting the bet button.

School for the week, got to play tonight finally. The client gets laggy at times. It's like playing on a 56k modem in the early ages of internet poker.

Good night. Half of my profit came when I had AA and they had KK. Coolers, but the way I ran last month I'll take it.

Thanks man, saw you're doing pretty well too.

Another good session. Took a real bad beat for 100 dollars with AA vs KK post flop. Turn gave me possible flush, blocking one out for villain, but villain hit the case K anyways :-\.

Nice upswing. Keep your head up, don't let short term downswings tilt you and you will do well this year.

TY, gotta love positive variance.

Stuntman is your bankroll pretty much at the same place it was Summer of last year? Have you been playing b/e poker since, basically ?

From the figures it looks like yes. Last month, moving up to 200NL, I lost 10 BI's which was 1/3 of my bankroll. I also ran way below EV so that didn't help either. You gotta move down sometimes. I think I'll stay at zone, my game style is perfect for zone IMO but we'll see, zone doesn't run all the time.

Not much going on, couldn't get much going, had some unkind flops and runouts where I couldn't bet for value.

Damn, lost with AA into AK when AI preflop AK gets a straight over 90bbs. Other than that had middle 2 pair on a T985 board and guy had JQ on a 3 bet pot. Other than those hands nothing interesting.

Bleh, started off good but made some bad calls and idiots called with air and couldn't fold top pair :-\ what can i do?

Here's the graph for the month. Only played 20 hours, a little over 60 bucks an hour. I should turn PRO! :P
