Think it's pretty complicated, especially with straddle dynamics (which I don't have a huge amount of exp. dealing with). What's hero's perceived/actual SB raise% here (I'm sure many good winning regs are raising here <15%)?

I'm on board with Meale that we can triple here a huge % (esp. when draws brick) and expect folds almost always. But, do we want to turn AK into a bluff? I'd rather bet bet xf, as I expect most villains to take sdv and under-bluff the river. Also why I'm advocating the smaller cbet size, I want all junky ax to feel like they have to call. People's calling ranging are very elastic to bet sizing, if we bomb flop we just fold out too much of what we dominate.

Few other thoughts

Good regs will turn QJ, JK, QT, KT into bluffs here, especially facing a check from hero.
When the flush completes (esp. turn), it's really a dogfight for who wants the pot more. When the board pairs, hero has more full-houses, if river pairs the board there's merit to building out a donk-range.

As far as the hand goes, I like villain's line. Presumably, he's blasting unimproved? I also, don't mind the trips nitback

These 3 blind structures change a lot of the game. Actually think BB is going to want to call pretty much all KQo unless SB sucks.

The SB is pretty difficult to play in these kinds of games and tight is right. (opening 10-15% seems fine; also fine to have a limp strat as well I'd say)

Flop can go either way between betting small and betting big. Turn is probably a mistake and would just c/f here comfortably. If you do call would just realize that he's going to bluff blank rivers pretty much always as well so calling turn/ folding river pretty decent mistake.

Assuming this is a full table, I believe you should just limp or fold pre with 100% of hands from the sb.

Oh i might have misread it. Is this a regular straddle and the table folded to him, or is it mississippi and he is first to act?

Or was it a Dallas straddle with ultimate ultimate ultimate last action...I assumed it was a regular straddle with action folded to the SB, although if he included all action then it was 3 handed.

1) Discounting AQ due to preflop action. Four combos each of Q9/79 suited left along with two combos each of KT/KJ suited and one 88 combo. Hearts brick as does 67. It's close. River sizing is interesting - you have a hidden value hand but you can have lots of draws too that brick.

It's been a while since I've done deep HH analysis so I may have the combo work wrong: can we find at least seven bluff combos that make this a 0EV call? If more combos are in his range, we call getting 2-1. I think this is a fold at lower levels online but I don't play $1/2 OL so YMMV

2) Sucks we block diamond draws but what value is he repping? One combo of TT and…? Does TT even get to the river?

If v is a drooler *I guess* you can give him one combo of AT suited. 65 and sets (if he can ever have them) raise turn a lot so we can discount those combos. 74 is so lol.

Diamond combos we beat include KJ/98/87 and maybe one or two Ax of diamond combos that are button clicking. How many of those combos are taking three to the face pre? Getting 2.8-1 and him repping so thin, I call.

1) Don’t think we’re gonna see enough bluffs either. I folded he had 88

2) Yeah Qhi fd turn call isn’t the greatest 4 way.

Vs a XC turn, donk river on a card that bricks draws and shouldn’t improve BB I typically close my eyes and call w/ any decent sdv. Sucks if he’s just clicking a naked ace or making a weird slowplay.

Would love to see MP’s reaction to results. MP folds AQ, I call, BB mega whale had the hail mary 93dd.

That said, for a fishy looking player, his turn river/size seem more on the bluffy/btn click random2 sizing scheme than trips+. Inclined to call.

Was thinking along the same lines. Thing that worries me is the main pot is somewhat protected and his bet size in absolute terms is huge (1.75bi) which may make thinner vb/bluffs less likely. And ty

Anon every hand. Also wasn't totally sure about flop. In theory i'm sure my spot is played super defensive this deep. In practice if the IP player isn't going to leverage his stack by putting a ton of pressure/use gigantic bet sizes I feel like I'm sacrificing a lot on this board by not betting.

Just yuck

I would size way down your cbet. Can also consider a check back with some overpairs, but probably prefer a bet with QQ.

Depending on what you 3b and the dynamic, he might think your range can't handle any heat here. Still doesn't mean he's going absolutely nuts with 0.

Would recommend folding flop and not telling a soul
