I've played about 35 hours since my last update. I think my play has been mildly decent. Definitely made some mistakes that have bothered me for days/weeks after the session. Yesterday I played 6 hours and there were 2 hands in particular that have me cringing every time they cross my mind. Trying to be honest ITT so i'll describe them below.
1st hand: 3 limpers, I complete J
7
in the sb, bb checks. Flop 8
9
3
I check, bb bets 1/2 pot, 2 calls, I call. Turn 4
, checks through. River T
. I lead for almost pot, mp min raises (middle age asian rec player reading a book who I have have seen do some interesting btn clicking), I fold. Pretty terrible fold imo
2nd hand: I open A9o in CO, mawg calls btn, bb calls. Flop: 622r. bb cks, I cbet 50 into 110, btn calls. Turn 2 completes rainbow. I check, btn looks at his cards carelessly, flashes a 4 and bets 95 into 210 with a little under 1k behind. I c/r to 300, he calls. River 4 ck, ck he has 64o. I guess this one isn't that bad with the knowledge he has 4x. I think I can shove a lot of high card rivers.
Hand of the week: MP limps, CO limps, btn makes a pot sweetener to 35, I go 135 w/ K
:K
, MP l/4bets to 350 with ~1600 behind (loose mawg rec player, spewy/stationy though i've never seen him limp/4bet), btn folds, I call. Flop J
9
5
. I ck/call 300. Turn K
I check, insta ships, I call and he doesn't table his hand so I just fastroll. I guess he had aces because he said "I knew I should've shoved the flop".
