Hi fellow grinders, i am a Canadian poker player and i will be leaving for Thailand(my third time) in less than 50 days and i wanna share my journey with you people.

First of all i am on a 26 years old and i have been grinding 1-2 in 2-5 NL holdem as well as PLO at the casino in Canada. I have played some live MTTs and did pretty well for myself so far on the Canadian scene.

I will Start this challenge by playing 100k (and maybe more)
hands of NL16 ZOOM 4 tables cash game on pokerstars as well as MTT later in my journey. I will be streaming at some point and hope to meet with some fellow poker traveler on my quest. I will be in Thailand most of the winter but will probably play some live poker as well in Cambodia and in the Philippines.

hey Nick i will totally be going up in stake, first goal is to play 100k hands and see what win rate i can achieve.
I will go up in stakes in the journey and also play MTT Between 11 and 109$ on sunday's a bit further down the road.

Where about in Thailand will you be staying?

I have stayed in Krabi and Bangkok Before.
Probably going to start with Koh Samui this year and go with the flow from there

Isn't Koh Samui one of the most expensive places to live in Thailand? Think if you're grinding micros you should stay on the mainland somewhere...

I did ship a nice live MTT 3 weeks ago and was already rolled for 2-5 prior to that...
i got the roll to play way higher than nl16 but i really wanna play 100k hands and move on to higher stakes from that small investment !

Hi there, i really enjoyed reading the first posts of your blog. You seem to be really ambitious and humble, which is a solid combination. Grinding it all the way up is definetely a smart idea, despite the fact you could play way higher. Online games are insanely more tough in comparison to live games. -Hey guys here's my weekly Update,
-40 Days before my departure to Thailand
-First of all i bricked all my MTT last sunday, -300$ on or something like that
-I did play arround 10k hands on nl16 only to be a very small winner
im a 7bb/100 after 25k hands and i have now decided to switch my volume
and start playing on PPP poker cause the game is just that soft and im also getting
50% rakeback which is amazing.
-Planning to play higher stakes fast enough

Had a rough start playing nl40 and nl60 was down arround 180$ last night but im coming back stronger today winning so far 335$ (not done with the session yet)
