Challenge outline:
-$200 starting bankroll
-all games will be played on Global Poker.
*from there all formats are open season.
-all games will be played on my mobile device.
*no desktops, laptops, tablets etc. Just my celli.
-money will remain in GP account until we have $10K.
-a brm outline will be provided in a following post.
*this strategy will be my template but I will deviate
as I feel fit.
-there is no time frame for this challenge.
-there is no way to prove that all games are being played
on my mobile device so I guess my word is my bond.
-I will give 5 individuals each $100 freeroll (Terms below)

Freeroll:
Itt give me the most significant reason I am likely to fail along with why I am likely to succeed. I will pick five of the most useful responses and give each of you $100 if I don't meet the following condition:

-I must reach $10K on global poker without busting my
bankroll ($190).
-there is no time frame for this freeroll.
-participants will realize their equity if:
*at any point I bust the bankroll. (A PayPal transaction
history report will be provided for proof of no
deposits made from this date on.)
*I make any withdraws before challenge is
Complete. (A withdraw history report will be provided
from global poker.
-keep in mind, playing other sites or on other devices will not End the freeroll. Freeroll participants will win under two conditions: 1. I bust my bankroll. 2. I withdraw any amount before $10K is in my account.
-proof of these two conditions will be provided once a month.
-participants will be payed via PayPal.

So a little bit about myself. . . . My name is James. I am 32yo. Been playing poker for about 10years, most of which has been spent grinding online mtts. I've built and punted more 5 figure rolls than I can remember. I feel like my card playing skills are pretty good and have stayed relevant and current with the times. Last summer I leased an apartment just a couple miles from San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino. (ALL THRILL&#128580. They spread 1-3, 2-5, and 5-10 with 100bb cap (5-10 is 150bb cap) and these games are JUICY. I began playing 1-3 when I moved in last summer and quickly built a $5K bankroll. I kept grinding until November when I went to Sacramento and punted roughly $12K at Stones Casino. I quit playing poker completely for about 7months.

In July I decided that I'm really ****ing tired of living check to check feeling stuck in this rat trap. I'd never quit my job (again, I'm still plumbing), just need to get above the struggles of scraping change. At this point I owed my Dad $1,700, had -$500 in the bank account. . . . . But luckily it was pay day. So I did what any genius would do, cashed my paycheck and put all the money right in the pocket with every intention to go grind 1-3.

A week later


From there I payed my Dad off 100%, put money back into my bank and continued grinding until I eventually would punt off around $4K. And that leads me up to now. Just waiting patiently to get back into those live cash games.

Most of this global poker challenge will be focused on cash games as I desperately want to improve in that arena. So far so good.



All games still bring played on a mobile device. So far I've played a pretty even mix of mtts and cash. Let's keep it going.

Monday mornings 😭

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was outstanding. Saturday night I decided to take a risky stab to get back In the San manuel1-3 game. Only had one $300 bullet to pop off with which is obviously a ******ed move but I felt too good. We played a 12 hour session and rack up $900 around 10am Sunday morning. .



After heading home and getting a bit of rest I head back for another session around 5pm last night. We played a 6 hour session.



Total profit for the weekend is about $1,300. Feels good 😤 Global bankroll has been bouncing between $300 and $400 while I've been grinding and attempting to study and improve in cash games. Right now my focus is 20nl 6Max. Hopefully we will start winning some buy one and move to 50nl soon.

Well we've already failed. Global account is empty. Since you were the only one to respond to the freeroll you win $100 by default. We will need to discuss sending info so I can get that to you.





So yeah the global account is completely empty. I decided to start playing global $100nl and $200nl full ring while I grind the $300nl live cash games at San Manuel. Took the chance of busting the account but it's OK because there is no value for me to be in the cheeseburger stakes. I've been crushing the live 1-3nl but unfortunately ran really bad in the small sample on global.

Moving forward I plan on updating after every live session I play. I'm going to try to keep proper records to see were we are hourly in both global and live cash games.

That was a weird time. Lol. I appreciate the comment. Definitely brought back some good memories.

The plan is to just keep going. Every set back makes me stronger and widens my perspective on poker and live. I feel lucky no matter what.

Currently sitting with a $1K stack on a Global 200nl fullring table. In for the min. I also just sat a live 1/3 . How fun.

We ended up booking a solid win on global last night. I plan on writing up a pretty detailed update later this evening. It's been a pretty eventful week ��.

Before I write out a much needed update about my experiences over the past week, here is a very critical hand from last night that eventually led me into a total disaster zone. By far my biggest losing night in my 1/3 game.


Hero is otb with 88. All the of us have close to equal stacks being close to that of $500 effective.
Utg opens $25. Standard opens have been about $15 so a $25 open from an older guy sitting utg just reeks of QQ+ and maybe AK. MP callsl and I call from the button.

Flop: 83T rainbow with one spaid (pot: $75)

Utg leads for $75. MP calls and I just call as well.

Turn:2s (Pot : $300)

Utg leads $200. MP calls with only $45 left behind. Action moved to me and I go ahead and jam a total of $300. Utg calls the extra $100 and MP flicks in his remAining $45.

Last Monday I made a deposit of $50 and this Monday I I'm waking up to $3,150

I'm OK with this number for now.

Well there is a lot to say to catch everyone up to speed, but for now, the only thing on my mind is the 3rd place finish i just got in the Eagle Cup $22r good for $1,300.

Still yet to give a good, detailed update. I do apologize. Tonight we luckboxed our way to 3 final tables.
