What makes you think that you can beat 100, as long you play your A game? In your first post, you write that you have no clue how to win.

I will cash in to play with a bigger BR.
Is just the problem: to stop playing, if I am feeling some emotions..
Its all about emotions..
What I know: There is some unconsciously trigger what bring me out of line..
I can play 10 very good sessions in a row, winning, crushing the competition but than there is just ONE day I am afraid of..
I will be back!
Hey Martin sorry to hear about your loss. The next day is always the worst, you feel like you are an idiot, it feels ****. I have many days like this. I do not have any advice because Iam the same with tilt just come here to support.

As you said it is the problem: to stop playing if feeling some emotion. It is all about emotions. We need stop before we get tilted because if we are on tilt we can not quit, we will burn it.

Why it is so hard to control emotions at poker table ? I agree with you there is some unconscious trigger that bring us out of line:

See good thing happen: you did not broke. You still winning this month!!! Off course it feels bad now because you were winning 2k, I understand that. But look you had very bad day and still winning little in the month . Not good but not terrible . Go baby steps. Yes easy to say and very hard to do.

Take few days off and comeback. You should play like 50plo or 25plo to test your mindset. Not playing 25 plo because you do not beat 100plo, do it like a mental test, focus to improve your mind! If after bad days at smaller stakes you do not get tilted you deposit and go play 100plo again. That is the best thing you can do but If I was you Id do the same you doing: deposit and play 100plo next day. Try be wise good luck !

Hey urubu thank you for your advice. I appreciate it much.
Yeah I was playing some PLO50 yesterday just to come down a little bit. Was up 4 stacks, feels a little better now...
I had many of those bad days in the past, so I have a lot experience to overcome this terrible feelings...
I try to think this way: it is just money and it's nothing personal.
I am the same person, I won money at the table and now I lost money, but I am still the same, you know what I mean?
Maybe it is something about the money...
Maybe I think unconsciously I don't deserve it to win by playing a simple game of cards..
I am on the way to figure it out...It's somethings about the game in a very deep level...

I try to get deeper to understand what exactly happen and than learn and try to avoid in the future. I try to analyze every small detail.
I guess it was one specifically situation, where I lost a hand: I flopped top set and villian rivered a flush..after the hand I was a little upset and I should stopp playing, but I didn't and I lost 5 buy ins in this session very quickly...
The next session was much worser: I was try to get my loses back very quickly and that was the biggest mistake I guess..I was playing some PLO200 and lost more than 3 buy ins there very fast...
So I can rational explain what happen and there must be a reason why its happen to me.
Just have to learn more about that and understand and stop feel emotional.

I know I am a better player now than in the past..I think in some diffrent way and my stats are diffrent than in the past, so i am not delusional abaout that..
I can beat this level (PLO100).
I feel more confident and my A-game is the best in my whole PLO life...
Of corse I have still to learn and avoid some mistakes but I understand now more about those mistakes...
Poker is by far the most challenging thing, I do in my life and I will every do...
So if I can master it, than the whole life is simple to master.
Thats I know for sure!

Thank you much for your support.

No, I am taking a break right now.
I will start playing soon again at partypoker...Will leave GGpoker.
But I will start with a bigger BR (around 100 buy ins) and move down to PLO50 and take poker more seriously...
It is still a game for me but, if I want to beat some level, I have to take it more seriously and not splash around my money.

I still have a big mental/tilt issue to manage.
Reading Tendlers book right now help me to understand more about tilt-issue.
In addition, I have subscribed on a JN coaching site and I am watching some of his videos right now.
He made some nice PLO100 videos, this help me alot to understand some concepts deeper...
Printed down also some of his basics secions (10 week transformation).

I guess there a some improvment in my game, I have made in the last month preflop and postflop but It's still not enough to beat the game over a big samplesize, because of my mental/tilt issue, who will take always some of my winnings away.

I have to be more realistic about my skills overall, about my approach to the game and my mindset.

You are going to deposit $5k?
Do yourself a favor and just go for 1k and play PLO25.

+1

The part about playing with a 100 buy-ins bankroll is just silly unless you want to go pro (you won´t) or rely on the money you make from poker (you don´t).

If you go bust playing with a loose bankroll management, so be it.

PLO50 is the lowest level, I will playing online and take it seriously.
I have no any motivation to play PLO25 or even lower, I tried it a couple times BUT it dindn't work..
I think I still have some poker potential and some poker ability, but I always got some setbacks, because of the mental and tilt issue..

So I will mainly focus on 4 goals this year:
- BRM (to get this finally done)
- PLO50 (to beat one level for a large sample size and not move up to quickly)
- tilt issue
- improve my game and my mindset overall

If I can achive my goals and show some improvements until end of the year, that it would be a big step for me in the right direction.
So I will be back and will hopefull post some nice hands and nice winnings
Take care guys.

Hi guys,
Quick Update. My local casino reopen the door last week in Wiesbaden, so I jumped there for some life PLO action. There are two PLO tables running at the moment 5 - 5€ blinds and is 8max. Usually is 10max, but there are protection walls on the tables now.
Two years ago, I have played life on a regular basis for 3 months and made some profit but made also some mistakes. My buy in was too short 250€ to 400€ and if you not double up very quickly, you have no chance to protect you hands in big and multiway pots...My bankroll was also not big enough (only 8k) and my first downswing forced me to stop playing.

Life games are usually much softer than online, there are some good and some bad regs.
Sometimes the table is very tight and there is no action, but sometimes the table is just crazy, so its a lot of fun.
You can limping/calling a lot of hands, that you will never play online but nobody really take a note of this..
The position is super important, because people play most of their hands almost face up..So I try to play very carefully oop and play much aggro in position.
Not many people really adjust to you, so If I play tight and show some big hands at the showdown, the most people think, I never bluff..So, in some spots, I try to play my image and bluff very profitable..Its going good so far.

I have played 3 Session and I am up 800€ right now.

My bankroll is 20k and I usually buy in for 1000€.

Update from my 4th life PLO Session yesterday.
Very tight table and the first 2 hours was a bit dissapointed and frustrating.I didn't hit any flop and one bad beat, was almost 1500€ down at one point, but managed to keep my emotions under control.
Later in the night the table got better, it was more loose passiv play and it turned around for me.
I got some nice pay off.
Won a nice 2k pot with middle set 33xx on 2378Q board. Check/call the flop (raindow flop) and c/r turn.
Another hand was a little bit tricky.
Raised with AAxx in MP or LP not sure and got a couple of callers.
Flop was AQ2 with 2 spade, I had no spade. Someone in EP donked 1/2 pot on the flop, I just called to see a blank turn. Everybody folded and the turn was a T (no spade) and 200€ in the middle..The guy took another stab with another 1/2 pot bet again. He had around 500€ behind. Was sure, he has no KJxx but was not sure, if he would stacked off here, if I would get it in here.
I made a minraise and he called. River 3. He played now 100€, I just called. He shows AT47 with 2 spade..Maybe, I should get it in on turn...
Finshed the Session 770€ up.
Life winnings so far: 1600€
My life bankroll now: 21,3k

5th live Session was the sickest one, I ever had sofar in live-games.
Played my best poker, very solid A-Game, made good and well timed bluffs and had good reads on everyone at the table. Played 4 big pots, get it in always in good BUT lost all of them with around 70 to 80% equity.
The last one was a sick 3.5k€ pot.
Raised with KKxx on the BTN and got 6 callers.
Flop 5QK with two dimands and one club.
One Villian donked pot on the flop, I just flated in position. Turn 7 club. Vilian donked pot again, I moved in, he called and river is a club and he sucked out with 558c3c with his backdoor flush draw.
Session loses: 3.2k€
BR 18k€

6th live Session this night.
After a terrible bad run yesterday, I booked my biggest winning day in my entire poker-life.
Doubled up my starting stack with AAxx in the first hour. Than played solid poker and hit some nice flops. Winning a couple of small pots is also important in soft live games. My guess is, that nobody is really paying much attention to the small pots.So I take my chance and bluff more than usually here, most in position.
Than after 3 hours, I won a nice 3.5k pot with AA66ds
It was a 4 bet pot preflop against 2 Villains.
Flop was 699 and both guys called my openshove on the flop. The one guy was holding 9JQK and the another 78JT.
After this huge pot, I didn't take any big risk and played only single raised or just limped pots in position versus the another big stack on the table.
Quite happy with this comeback today.
Winnings today: 3.8k€
live winnings this month: 2.3k€
BR: 22k€

Update 7th live Session.
Table was very tight for the first 2 hours. Have try too loose it a little bit up, but didn't work well..Nobody was really playing back..So I was playing too many marginal hands and run always into monster. Someone slowplays AAxx on A44TJ board and I payed off with JT4x. Was down about 1.4k but than managed to comeback. Won a nice 3 way all in pot with KQT7ds.
The second nice hand was AQT8ss. Could get it on QQT flop against a 600€ stack and won vs. QJxx.
Was up more than 1.2k at some point but than lost a little bit focus and run on A9K flop with KKxx into AAxx..but lost only the minimum because of the scary board T and 8 on the turn and the river..
So not great play at all but still a winning session.
Session winnings : 635€
Winning this month so far: 3000€
BR now: 23k€

Overall now: I won 6 of 7 live Sessions and lost only one (big lose but couldn't do anything here, maybe try to keep the variance a little smaller next time..).
I have a good feeling at the table and can read some opponents very well. There is a pool of maybe 30 to 40 PLO guys..Only very few guys can play well in position and can play big stack poker. Most are somekind of passiv nits, who play always the same style over and over again. Some guys are also gambling and tilting much and rebuy always for minimum: 250€. After losing they try to gamble a little bit more to build a stack quickly.
So for me is very profitable to play just solid poker in position and try to build an edge day by day. I take some notes on some players. There is maybe two guys with big stack, I didn't figured out yet what they are doing..
I try to analyze my hands during the session and also I write some of my hands down and study it after every session. Very happy with my progress so far.
I have fun playing live atm. With my bankroll of 23k€,
I still feel a litlle bit worry but hope to keep it up.

Update 8th live Session
Played a solid A-Game tonight and hit some nice flops as well. Get it in with top set on draw heavy flop vs. 1k stack and won..
Another nice pot was with AAKJ on QTx board. Hit my wrap card on turn.
Also my small ball strategy works so far. Try to steal a lot of pots in position with high c- bet frequency. Nobody is really playing back, restealing, ckeck/raising or is donk-beting on flop into me.
Session winnigs 1315€
This month: 4300€
BR is now over 24k€
Here is the picture of my stack at the end:

Update 9th Live Session
My first real bad day live. In terms of not bad run but bad play.
I was in a callingstation modus vs. tight players and tight ranges. Have called to many hands down and was trying to catch my draws too often. Also some of my bluffs didn't work.
But still managed to win some pots. Big 3 way all in pot, I was holding QTJx and flopped 2 pair, made FH on the river and won vs. AAxx and another hand. So I could reduce my loses a little bit.
Session loses 1100€
Month winnings: 3200€
BR: 23k€

Ok guys. Let's get this comeback started online once again.
PLO100 on Party with 50 buy ins. Will focus on solid A-Game and try to study my stats and game after every Session. Will continue playing live of course but my mainly focus will be online, to beat the game for more than 200k hands finally.

Let's go. Let's do it!!
