Hey All, I joined the coaching for profits of BPC. I started playing SNG’s at 15years old on Pokerroom- I turned $50 into $600 the first day and was hooked from then on. I messed around playing cash games (heads-up, 6max) but was never profitable on FT.
I grew up in France/Belgium, moved to SF in 1998, went to university in LA and I’ve been working in tech in SF for almost 4 years now. I’ll be turning 26 in three weeks. I played in the WSOP Colossus this past summer and was a few minutes away from Day 2 before spewing my stack. I did manage to win a big pot of Vanessa Selbst who bought everyone shots at the table. Now that I broke my WSOP cherry, I’m determined to get back next summer. I never play live tournaments. It was kind of pathetic- I didn’t know how to make change for the ante when my chips didn’t add up (honestly would still love some help with that). I own pretty much every poker book- SS, Harrington I,II,III, Harrington on Online, Phil Gordon’s Little books, Sklanksy, Caro- you name it. Like most poker players, Rounders is one my top 5 favorite movies. My goal for this program is to move up from 25nl on Bovada and maybe Carbon to start doing this full-time. I’m completely open to going back to Europe where the online poker climate is friendlier. I have very little experience in heads-up. I stopped studying for a while until I watched Victor Saumont’s documentary “Nosebleed” and was determined to get back into the online game. Although I’ve tried to teach myself with books and videos, I’ve never been part of a community of poker players that has helped me get better. I’m breakeven at my best. This is a sample of my PT4 data- all from Carbon Poker. I can’t count the # of times I cleared my PT4 cache expecting profitable results the next time I made another deposit. Ultimately, the graph kept spiraling downwards so I put poker “on hold” to focus on work and other hobbies. Ultimately, poker will give me the freedom to travel without worry which is my ultimate goal. PT4 Graph:
