Yeah he was just tight. But still from memory like a 4-6% 3b vs co. We can also flop nutted hands plus IP is sweet.

In that case I'm definitely folding. His 3 bet is so low in this spot he isn't exploiting us if we fold everything except premiums. The problem with AJ is the were not going to make much when we flop an ace and he doesn't have one. We are probably going to lose a fair bit when we flop an ace and he had AK or we flop a Jack and he has an overpair. Being suited and in position just doesn't make up for these disadvantages imo.

three of a kind boards are really good for us as the preflop 3bettor because JJ+ is basically the nuts, you can do a LOT of betting on them

You are probably right, I will review the hand and ranges to see what kind of equity I have. Perhaps reverse implied odds calling vs a tight range.

TDA

So multiway oop should I cbet like 1/3 pot? I agree our range is strongest however do you think their flatting range of pp is like 88-JJ? And would they just jam flop if I bet? So I'm bet folding?

VS a 5% 3b range BB vs CO of TT+,AJs+,KJs+,QJs,AQo+

AdJd has 38% equity. I may be wrong but we should be defending this.....right?

I'm getting a range of TT+, KQs+, AQo+ (4.98%) and our equity is 33.79%.
If we change it around and give him some bluffs QQ+, AQ+ A2s - A5s then our equity goes up to 38.66%

I think the ROI makes it a fold. I'd probably even fold AQ against him. However this is one spot I'd set mine all pocket pairs.

roi? reverse implied odds?

against this range we have enough

TT+,AQs+,A5s-A2s,KQs,AQo+

folding aks is pretty nitty imo i really think with this equity we have to call

Should be RIO. Probably too early for me to be posting strat

I definitely wouldn't be folding AKs. I've just gone and had a look at a recommended defence range from the coaching stuff I'm going through to see what it has and it doesn't include AJ's till their resteal is much higher. And I'm pretty certain that's mainly down to RIO (Or Roi.... )

Sorry i always read your blog lying in bed before going to sleep on an ipad so its not ver comfortable for writing.

I have done some flopzilla stuff in boards with run outs like u had in QQ and if u simulate that villain sometimes 4 bet jam JJ and that sometimes (a lot of times in NL 25) will fold JJ TT on the river u dont have a value bet, even close.

22 dunno WTF U did, cold 3 bet over a shove over a pot river bet with baby full house?

I really don't agree with QQ. Vs weaker player which that was, we will get called by 1010 and JJ a lot. Take a look at my j10 hand where I turn trips and check raise then get 3b by fish with A high lol

With the 22 hand take a look at stack sizes. The fish had $15 to start the hand so my river jam was calling the more reg type player. Vs fish wide range we can jam or value imo

But in saying all that I am definitely putting more work into ranges and reviewing hands street by street determining ranges so I do agree with your comment that I need to work on ranges a lot more.

I think the best comment you made was tilt issues. I've worked on that since your comment and I'm playing much better now mentally.

Appreciate the feedback though keep it coming
maxde1 - The challenge of real life and reaching HSNL Quote

Why did you bet 1/3 pot with the QQ hand though on the turn? Shouldn't you just bomb it and get him in there? On bad rivers you lose value and I notice a lot of these fish stack off on turns chasing draws. You should be punishing them badly for that not giving them the best price possible to chase.
maxde1 - The challenge of real life and reaching HSNL Quote

Yes I should of jammed turn but for some reason I wanted to get money in over 3 streets and remain balanced to some degree but now my play would yeah be jam turn

villain calls off some random pair way more often than he folds JJ/TT
