would love to hear some thoughts on my river play...in game i felt any 99+ wont fold especially when draw misses, the 2x on riv was a blank IMO...Perhaps i should have let bluffs bet again and just check raised. I thought villains range was stronger however looking back his turn bet sizing is relatively small

I prefer going for a c/r on that river. His turn sizing makes it look very much like he's on a draw.

Yeah let him bluff missed draws otr. Although since he bets so small ott, possible they won't bluff.

K2dd - Not sure about pre since we are a lil deeper. Flop seems like a x and not in love with the sizing. River looks like a xr since villains range isn't gona have too many strong hands.

K2 is a call imo.
3 bet is fine at some frequency. Flop is kinda neutral I guess so we can go high frequency meaning small sizing. Turn fine we are given direct odds. I don't think we should have a donking range on this river.

Yeah K2dd I'd flat pre as a default but 3b is ok, however since we're deeper I think we should flat at a higher frequency. Once we flop this there are many lines/sizings we could take, but I'd prefer to start out with a bigger flop cb. Interesting to hear your plan facing bigger turn sizings when you check? As played we definitely want to xr/xc a jam on river.

KThh is a tough and interesting one, but I would have to know the player pretty well to b/f river, I still think people spazz out at these limits and it's not like it's a huge jam so we're getting good potodds. Sometimes you just gotta get stacked if he has it, but I'd be surprised if he only shows up w better here, altho some nits will. Not really sure in the end, would be interesting to hear others thoughts on it. Did you have a sample for posting some stats on the guy?

Yeah agree. Im finding when a cbet 1/3 pot in 3b pots villains dont know what to do so they raise alot of bluffs. The turn sizing seems indicative of a bluff or draw.

Thats what i thought in game. Turn is small and bluffy river will check back...

Pre ill 3b standard range up to like 150bb approx then ill remove weaker hands OOP. My standard flop size cbet in 3b pots is 1/3 pot with strong and weak hands. I agree river should be xr or lead smallish

agree with k2dd hand comments. k10 river decision was either way to be honest. villain was winning reg and this would only ever be boats or strong 10x. I just didnt understand why he would check jam. I have more 10x in my range

Well this month over 100k sample I was beating 25z at 4.29ev bb/100 then I lost about 12 or so bi in a day running bad. I didn't worry cos I felt like it was run bad. I had like 300$ in stars coins to cash so then I shot 50 and think lost 5 bi yesterday.

I swear I'm running into nuts like every big pot

Don't get me wrong I'm making mistakes but definitely not running well. Look at my blue and red line crazy low and my won at show down is like 10-15% lower than usual

Over 100k hands in 1 month is alot. I think it's too much considering you're trying to move up asap and get out of the micros. You should consider playing less and studying more.

But yeah you're getting shafted.

This happened to me 2-3 times at 25z as well. Doomswitch is real. Would give advice but it owned me last time as well and IDK what to say frankly. GL I guess.

My advice during doom switch is to play tighter, less 3betting oop, just minimize the damage.

thanks for support peeps

finished month $-69 at the tables but overall around +$400 with RB.

Goals for May:

* Updated blog only a few times. its annoying to do it all the time....
* Play 2 tables ONLY of zoom
* Play 1 @ 50z and 1 @ 25z until im comfortable at 50z.
* Play much less. I played like 110k hands this month because i was home sick for a large amount of time so maybe like 30k hands or something
* Only play when im relaxed, rested and mentally ready

thanks for support

peace

hey guys nothing much to report other than trying to get myself out of a $1k total downswing. Mosst of it at 25nl and some at 50nl (around $400 of losses). Ive just been running like crap combined with really sub optimal play.

Im kind of over zoom. I dont like the dynamics of zoom much. I prefer to take advantage of regs and weaker players tendencies in normal ring games. So now im playing 25 6m normal tables like i was in the past. Im actually enjoying it more now too.

So i have started to win back some losses but down like $350 for month overall, climbing out of it now.

Peace

update

playing alot less, only like 20-25k hands so far this month. only playing 2-4 times per week. i only play when i feel like it and its helping alot because im mentally in a better place.

results are much better. re line is pretty much flat, blue line is going up again and so is green line. still down for month overall but have won back 8-12 BI over past 2 weeks. playing well on normal tables and will have 1 zoom going to get hands while table selecting.

off to vegas in 12 days for tail end of series so cant wait
