Happy ny to all!

Currently in Vegas for about 10 days and have played some poker. I didn’t bring usd so I have been getting money from atms which sucks because it’s 1kusd per 24hrs. I didn’t expect to be here that long, in fact only 3 nights but turned into 10!! Plus the fact I’m super card dead and can’t win a hand makes it even more annoying.

Graph so far, not sure if I’ll play again.

Goals this year

Crush life
Make cash
Play a bit online at 1/2 and 2/5 and go to wsop for at least two weeks.

Gl to all

ended december in slight profit online. doing very well at 200z but most losses were at 500. On a bit of a downer after getting crushed at 500, here is graph. Note blue line is horrendous

live was a disaster.-$5.1k in vegas and tahoe. just couldnt hit a strong hand =, folded a ton and made 2 crucial rivers calls that cost me a bunch. Prob a bit frustrated and wasnt thinking correctly. Games were excellent and i would have grinded more at 5/10 but couldnt access enough $$$ through atm's.

Jan will be grinding 200z and 500 i think. Need to regroup and study a bit more.

Long time no update!

I will post a graph at the end of the month but things are going ok poker wise. Playing alot, I think nearly 40k hands this month! For a hobby thats alot of hours.

Results wise maybe +$7k or something and just started game selecting $1knl.

WSOP 2019 is booked for me so im super excited. Im also staying longer this trip, a total of 16 nights. Im yet to book accommodation, not sure if I want a hotel or airbnb condo or something. Either way im really looking forward to playing 10/20 and maybe even shot 25/50 if games look good. YOLO right?!

overall its decent, bad day today -$3k didnt win a pot over 100bb in 2.5hrs

In regards to vegas here are my thoughts on the place:

1. The strip and close surrounds are terrible. Full of annoying tourists and ferals. A very fake city with no class at all.
2. Get off the strip to Summerlin/Henderson etc where "normal" people live and you will find the surrounds are much nicer.
3. The abundance in good food options off strip are great (even on just more expensive) you just have to find them.
4. many activities to do like hiking, gunds, cars etc etc
5. Good accommodation options.
6. Soft cash games in abundance unlike other places

If you come to vegas, stay on the strip in a average hotel or even rio you most likely wont enjoy it unless you are a degen. There is more to vegas than meets the eye

January 2019 Recap

My first full month back playing poker after not playing a hand online for 7 months (May til Dec 18). Its amazing how rusty i am in so many spots and how much the 200z pool has improved. There are more tight regs yet still the same amount of fish. The games are still good, however.

Im trying hard to break into 500z and the goal for Feb is to play nearly exclusively 500. My online roll is not much because depositing is hard on ignition unless you use crypto, which i dont.

Im struggling a bit from my BB, the positional WR is bad, the rest seem ok, so really need to work on PIO spots more.

My mental game is much better than at the start of the month. You can see the swings in the graph which could have been avoided to a degree through better decision making.

Stake breakdown

BB won

$$ won

Total graph since coming back to online play

And 250k hands at 200z now

its one thing to post winning graphs when running well, however its not always like that.

I have been playing mostly 500 this month and not going well at all. Im down just over 6.5k in the past week, which really is nothing for the stakes, its just annoying because im not playing well. Im grinding too much, overplaying spots which is a result of bad card distribution. IE - tilting because im not running the best which results in bad decisions.

Im go back to exclusively 200 to build online roll back up because you cant deposit more than 1k aud on ignition without btc.

so there you go, a bit depressing but thats just poker. Time to have a few days off, study and come back bigger and better.

BTW - if any regs read this who are interested in a cfp (i have own roll) im keen. Looking for a player who beats 500+ to work with.

I been there many times with my 500nl shots. Being honest with yourself and posting this information is a good step forward. Everytime I had to report my 500nl results I always felt embarassed but motivated to try again. Hopefully the card distribution turns around into your favour and we see some crushing graphs again. Gl!!

thanks for the posts fellas. I think its only 25bi total now (500 and 200 combined so pretty normal ds really) however that could have been minimised with playing better.

Back to 200z grind - now need to win 40 bi this month lolol

yoyo
feb was a disaster, my worst month ever, lost about 8k at 500 and 200. Was pretty down about poker and just couldnt be bothered tbh. Took several days off, reset mental game and reviewed spots where i was spewing. Its taken a while but here is a decent rostucko for you guys

Pretty much play exclusively 500 now and feel very comfortable at the stake and player tendencies. Just need to handle the bigger swings.

Vegas in 2 months, trying to find a airbnb online. Looking forward to playing and catching up with people.

peace
