In the second hand on your latest post, what's the purpose of the 1/4 pot bet? What kind of situations would you do that beside slowplaying?
So as standard, in a 3b pot to get in stacks by the river (assuming you have 3b to at least 8bb pre and we're 100bb deep) you can just over half pot flop and turn to have a pot sized river shove. In 4b pots because a larger percentage of our stack is already invested, by the flop we are able to bet around 1/3 flop 1/3 turn and shove for less than pot on the river. By keeping sizes consistent we can barrel as a bluff more and generally gives us more options rather than just betting big on the flop. There are scenarios where we want to be betting 1/2 pot otf and shoving turn in 4b pots but it depends on the board texture + our perceived range + their perceived range.
No grinding today, been doing fun activities in London and playing pool!

Turn: ($593.50) 4 (2 players, 1 is all-in) River: ($593.50) A (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: $593.50 pot ($2.80 rake)
Final Board: 3 8 9 4 A
Hero showed 3 3 and won $590.70 ($313.98 net)
UTG+2 mucked and lost (-$34.06 net)
MP1 showed T T and lost (-$276.72 net)
Interesting hand vs good reg. PFR was a fish, his 3b sizing indicated hands similar to the one he had tbh. I guess we fold 0 rivers if we call this one :s
We won footie 7:1 last night which was quality, although the opposition were horrendous.
Got a big week next week of grinding, my gf is in New York all week so seems a good opportunity. I say that now, but no doubt i'll play the same if not less than i usually play.
Also, i've started meditating daily and it's really great. Helps with my mindset a ton and generally something that a load of my therapy mates have suggested to do. If anyone's interested then the video below is a great intro into what to expect plus reasons for doing it.
There are a couple other things that i'm hoping to start implementing into my routine but i'll type them up as i go.
Never folding H1, just can't decide whether I like calling or jamming better.
Have you decided yet?
My thoughts on the hand were to either call or fold, not call or shove. He has a range that consists of Jx and AJ, maybe KT(?) maybe even AA but ofc i don't expect him to play many of those hands this way. I kinda thought he had AJ or a random weird bluff. The only problem is that it's pretty difficult to assign him a bluffing range.

Pretty much this ^

I think using the word 'clearly' may be an overstatement here! I am kinda surprised that everyone is saying its basically an easy call too tbh. I may be missing something

AcXc look like the obvious hands that get there to me. However, I'm assuming there are a few more possibilities that would just fire as a bluff on that river that I wouldn't expect to see at my regular stakes.

Well tbh the hand he showed up with i wouldn't expect anyone at any limit to have...
Spoiler:
he had 99

Guy is good player with 99 he knew he cannot win pot by checking. But in all seriousness vs teh wtsd and wsf you describes this is a harder snap than if u have KK pre bu vv bb and u get shipped on...

About that hand 1: I don't see him bluffing here very often. In my eyes if he has AJ here, wich he has very often in my eyes, it's the nuts for him. Because you would most likely bet the flop with KT. That totally explains the line; x/x flop, x/c turn.
You on the other side, AJ is certainly in your range when you check back flop and bet the turn when he checks, so he should be scared of that.
And I think he would most likely bet his draws and some air with backdoor equity or something, so I don't see him bluffing that much at all.
I would lean towards a fold. Calling as 2nd best, but never shoving imo.

Thanks for your feedback! My thoughts were similar to yours. I did time right down and was so close to folding but decided he was a little too spazzy to fold. As i said before, he had 99
