Relatively standard for me scorp, but 55bi is still a worse ds than most winning regs experience imo

Thanks mate! I actually felt like i needed to change everything about my game and was told to just wait it out a little while longer. Fortunately that was the point it started to turn around. It was actually really sick because my blue line which usually goes straight up went totally break even for 75k hands. I can safely say now that it was just a sick patch of variance.

Sounds pretty similar to my own downswing. My blueline just went level for tens of thousands of hands. It's super frustrating as you just feel as though you can't get any sort of momentum going to start a comeback as you are losing every single session you play.

I'm assuming that your findings suggest that 6max has higher winrates therefore playing FR doesn't make a lot of sense. I guess i can only say that when you're learning FR is a lot easier and that was something i just stuck with. It wasn't until i became a better FR player that i decided to start trying out 6max. It still took like 5 or 6 shots before i beat it though.

yeh it really is extremely de-skilling and makes you feel like you've fundamentally lost some ability. Just gotta chat to people to reassure you and do sweats/HH reviews.

So tonight was a siiiiick sweat for our football team. The way the league panned out put us in a dire situation where we needed to win back to back games as well as the team in 2nd place to lose/draw tonights game vs the worst team in our league. We won ours 6-3 and by some absolute miracle the **** team won 3-2. We have absolutely no idea how it happened, but it means we're in the final next week! Super pumped for it and will hopefully have a champions photo for the blog this time next week

This is basically exactly where I am right now. Blue line has flatlined for 30k hands, can't seem to win a session and have started to feel like I don't know how to play the game any more. I keep feeling like I need to tear my game apart as the lack of winning starts eating at yr confidence after a while. Been doing sweats and reviews with people and it's so reassuring to get positive feedback and know we just have to have faith and keep plugging away and things will turn around eventually. Your graph and Huskers almost identical one are helping me keep perspective.

I like your line but not the x/shove otr. Just check call river, you cant get him to fold boats and you get him to fold all worse flushes.

The house party last night was loaaads of fun. There were a ton of poker players but unfortunately i didn't get any pics! I met Carltheman for the first time which was quality.

Things have really slowed down this month in terms of winnings, however i'll take this over the sick swings i've had this year any day!

Hand 3 brings back memories. A double dose of gross, first by giving villain the nuts and then by strengthening your own hand so it's impossible to fold.

That first hand makes my head hurt. How wide does he defend BB and what his 3b look like? Does he have AQ or 53s in his range on the flop?

It's such a dry run out, I really struggle to assign him a bluffing range on the river, mainly because i can't see what weak/drawing hands call the turn. KJcc?

Unless you know he's uber balanced (or bluff unbalanced, which seems unlikely) in this spot, I think you've got to fold.

Aaargh... but his value combos by the river are what?? 53s, 44. Probably 3bets AQ pre. Does A9 even raise for thin value?

Really tough spot imo. Sorry, that stream of conscious rambling probably wasn't helpful!
