Played pretty bad today and need to get ready to go out so can't grind it out!

Wasn't really in a great mindset either i don't think. I've decided to use a table that i had before where i track how well i've played along with the time of each session. By doing so it's easy to find the time of day that i'm playing better or worse and also in relation to the number of hands played in the session. Will keep doing this on the side and post the table weekly or something.

Past few sessions:

Hi all,

Ricky/TonnaMunz was kind enough to film one of our football matches and put the good bits together to make a really cool video!

The video features myself in goal, R1aki, Peter804 and SmbSmbSmb along with a couple of non-poker mates too.

Hope you enjoy it!

Nice thread. Question:

In post 90 the first hand, whats your reason for checking the river? Wouldnt it be better to donk here? Cause he will check a part of his hands behind and the made hands will prob raise you there anyway?

I decided to check the river because we're so deep. Being able to check raise my value means i can also check raise my bluffs. If i lead the river with my bluffs then they're going to get picked off a lot more and obviously would have a way lower success rate. As for him raising a lead with lets say the As, i don't ever expect him to, but there is a chance he could bet call it instead. Also, if he does have stronger hands such as small boats, he might be inclined to just call the river to a donk bet. Hope this answers your question. If you wanna ask anything else then please do!

The most debatable hand i've posted in a while i think. In hindsight I don't like my bluff because he doesn't fold any flush and has a fair few with 8xcc, also there is no guarantee that i fold out even AK.

Month is going good still. Up ~6k.

Also got some underwater photos developed from my holiday in Mauritius which look pretty cool. Think it is quite fitting for a poker forum

                  Thanks mate

                  EDIT:

The most debatable hand i've posted in a while i think. In hindsight I don't like my bluff because he doesn't fold any flush and has a fair few with 8xcc, also there is no guarantee that i fold out even AK.

Had a pretty sick past 2 sessions. Running good in preflop all ins still but receiving some horrible coolers. I'm also a bit concerned that im losing at 100nl this month still but crushing 200. Probably just variance so i won't read too much into it for now.

Bluff vs standard reg. I think i rep sets and straights really really well but there could be argument to check call turn and check shove river. The reason i decided to take the line that i did was to put maximum pressure on his range and not risk him checking back a hand like JJ on the river:

This hand was pretty frustrating, mainly due to the fact that i should be finding a fold at some point during the hand. Probably turn. It's just really sick that he's raising the nuts on the flop with a whale still to act behind. OVerall i think his line pretty much sucks but then again, i'm the one who's called down!
