First hole to grind in a while. Actually felt good to not have that dirty running above ev feeling

Also made 2 royal flushes!

Few hands from today:

Kinda interesting hand vs a guy i play with a lot. By interesting, i mean i don't like his line. He raise tanked down to 2 seconds and called too. Kinda makes me think that he felt that he didn't know why he was raising in the first place:

vs a mate of mine who i've posted hh's with. Think my bluff is just a bit sketchy tbh. At the time it felt like the right thing to do though. Thoughts would be cool:

vs aggro fish. I think checking river vs a guy with very high aggression is really profitable, particularly when his value range is perceived to bet the river a ton:

so you overbet turn right? so when he calls you think he has 2pr+ so otr you feel he has filled up most of the time I assume?

Its amazing to read these HHs... I have never seen top pair folded in my life

              PS: you play so deep

Hi mate, thanks for checking the thread out! Hmmm you may well be right, i just felt that given we're going 3 way, i'm gunna be barreling a far stronger range and felt he could fold QQ-AA. ty for feedback though

Yeh, when he calls he has 2p+ 100%. I guess its feasible that he's turning JQ into a bluff, but that is the only bluff he has. haha there are deep ante tbls which you can buy in for 250bb max, 100bb min. A ton of fun and the fish tend be reallllly juicy. Also good to play regs who usually 100bb and put max pressure gl mate!

So April is over and i'm so happy with the way i've been playing. Took another failed 400nl shot but only lost a bit there overall due to winning a bit at pl tbls. Again, running above ev was really nice.

              Graph:

              Stake breakdown:

Also i feel like this would be a good time to put a yearly update in and see where i'm at in terms of yearly goals.

[ ] 400k vpps - at about 87.5. Seriously behind pace, need to up my game big time
[ ] 50k table profits - ahead of pace (see graph below)
[ ] Play at least one big live event in another country - still aiming for this!
[ ] Keep updating this blog with HH and results - Doing this fine
[ ] Keep working on my game off the tables - Could definitely be doing more off table work, but working with notecaddy has something i've been doing a lot so kinda made this goal.
[ ] Be mixing in midstakes FR by the end of the year - 2 failed 400 shots but will be shotting again this month

So I'm on pace for about half of the goals for the year. Obviously the most important is profit and volume and i'm hitting one of those.

              Graph for the year:

              Stake breakdown for the year:

Overall really pleased with how things are going.

So May goals. I've made the decision to drop 100nl but will still play 100pl and 100euro because they're still really tasty. Also gunna take a real shot at 400nl. So as of today, just mainly 200-400 with a bit of 100.

              Gl in May guys!

Hey mate. I personally really really dislike zoom for a couple reasons. The regs tend to be a ton more aggressive and given i play quite an aggro style it makes life quite a lot harder for me. Also the fish tend to be very passive as a whole which i don't like either. I love being able to 3bet a fish over and over again till they try take a stand (usually resulting in them losing a decent chunk of their stack)

I know that zoom is great for dipping in and out of sessions and is great if you don't like table selecting etc. I just can't stress enough how much better/profitable it is to take the time to learn how to game select and play regular tables. Hope this helps.

Month has started off good again. Not playing 100nl feels so so weird as i haven't not played it for so many years now. That ev guy is gunna get me soon, i can feel it. However, for now it's still being good to me

Really, really interesting spot vs a good reg. Have spoken about this hand with a couple guys and had mixed feelings. Kinda felt that with my sizing and the fact we're perceived to be pretty capped would mean he'd be bluffing a lot more. This may be naive of me as these good 400nl regs don't make face up plays.

Another sick hand vs a reg i've never played with. After the hand a few regs told me that this guy is one of the best at midstakes... Kinda makes my call down good i think. Also his hand selection is pretty good. I do think that cbetting into me and a fish may be incorrect though.

vs good reg. The Ac on the river is interesting because whilst it is a pretty good card to turn hands into a bluff, it's also a reasonably good card for me to call down on:
