Wrt The Masters, Ronny just too good. The guy basically takes a year out of the sport and still wins at a canter. Unbelievably good.

yeah, you can't argue his talent, but i just hate him as an individual. Got very little class and i don't rate that. My favourite player is judd, he's just a total beast too. Him and robertson are the ones to watch for the future for sure.

Had various things to do today and heading to a house party now. Put in a session and made a nice recovery after a shocking start.

Really questionable bet call vs extremely aggro fish. I definitely think that x/c is by far my best option here, or bet fold. meh:

I'm no where near good enough to make half decent breaks on a full size table though. Think my max on this smaller table is 48 which is still quite good but there's tons of room for improvement. Do you play? Did you watch any of the masters at ally pally last week?
Nice, I have never played on a 3/4 table, but 48 sounds very good to me!
My highest so far was 35 on a normal sized table, but hoping to get beyond 50 until the end of the year. Always getting a nice long pot in, potting 1-2 colors and then loosing concentration on an easy one. Drives me crazy..

Masters have been quite entertaining, especially Ronnie's run ofc.
Dunno much about his personality, as the German tv barely shows any interviews, but I once read that he had a complicated childhood and due to that lots of drug problems, so that may be a reason for his behaviour..

ahh, 35 on a normal sized table is way more impressive than 48 on this table, trust me. You sound like you're definitely better than me! Yeah he did have a rough upbringing etc, and whilst i can sympathise with that, i still don't like the way he carries himself in interviews etc. I just find him quite an attention seeker. Trying to get some vids of a decent break but every time i play with my friends i totally bottle it when i hit like 30 point

In NZ pool rules if you commit any foul on the black you lose the game. Pretty great for elite players like me who traditionally have 7 balls left when you're opponent has to hit the black or lose.

Must've been pretty devastating to say the least. I would love to get good enough to play in a league, but it doesn't look like it'll happen any time soon.

          ---

Had a really busy day today with supervision, personal therapy, skyping my parents while they're away and also viewed 2 potential properties to move in to. Unfortunately neither of them will be suitable so back to the arduous task of contacting a million estate agents, explain that i'm a poker player and try convince them to accept 6 months rent up front. Pretty tiring but hey, i don't pay tax and this is my punishment! Played a short session this morning and ran well. Was going to play tonight but i'm not really focussed enough so i'll give it a miss.
