Then played another hefty 5.5hour session resulting in a very satisfying WIN. Another couple buy ins below ev to add to the ever growing orange pile this year

Yes, but not xshove.

Villain only has like 6 AsXx one pair combos and it's questionable how often he'll bluff them. He'd have to be really creative to bluff other things, but I guess some AxKs AxQs make some sense too (but also probably 4b a bunch)

I wanna bet fold the flush but never do. It also really really looks like you have a pair+fd on the turn, river flush.

No idea about 500z cold calling meta in mid positions so I'm curious how many better flushes you'd give him? Surely the few combos that make it in there are all mixed?

I'm not a big fan of the squeeze with 67, I don't think you have enough fold equity versus most players in these spots.

In the TT hand v AQ was the rec playing pretty wild? I think I might actually have folded this. :/

The only sizing that makes sense for villain is x/j imo, is the guy x-minraising and then folding to a click back? I think that some big nits it's a fold because As is unblocked by the board, which gives villain more combos of Axss and hero too, which makes hero's x back range more protected, giving less incentive for villain to bluff.

The problem of not x/r KQ for value there is that As blocker becomes too strong for hero, without KQ going for the x/r hero could fold his low flushes and call with AsKx.

Also villain is somewhat wide vs the small bet OTF, so he has a lot of bluff candidates in his range, not saying that he will bluff enough, but he can if he want. On 50z-200z it's a fold, not sure how 500z people play, probably call because it looks like the level of play is really high in there, but vs people like vitaminos/some 200z regs taking shots it looks like an easy fold.

Rapid, you're strongly ignoring the fact that villain can lead the river. He can also lead multiple sizes otr. Of course if he's check raising the only size which makes sense is xj and it should be nuts/air imo.

He may construct his range by leading strong 2pr/straight /set/non nutflush/bluff and xj nutflush/blocker. Keep in mind he can lead overbet too. For instance. I also think he should be stuffing river leads large with bluffs to make life hard for AK/AQ which it looks like bena may have.

This is valid and I confess when I skimmed the hh first time I thought villain was the original pfr. Cold calling ranges still tend to vary from reg to reg, but id guess at most 4-6 flushes. But the same can be said for bluff candidate.

Anyways, it's a very sick spot and doesn't come up so often. Not worth stressing over it too hard.

squeezing 67s = deservedly stacked. River is a fold also. 2018 and 500z regs still have no idea about perceived ranges. Still hope.

The squeeze is certainly fine at frequency.

haha yeah the AQ guy was a rather special recreational. It's definitely not a standard call by any means

Agree with most of these sentiments, particularly villain only having one river size which is x/shove

all true again. I think it's just a mandatory river call ap, can't be going about folding flushes here

Care to elaborate on the sqz deservedly being stacked? You done some analysis on this exact spot before? Curious about your knowledge of 500z, you play it? or rail people playing it? Or are you basing this off the 3 500z PGC's in this forum as the breadth of your understanding. I'm curious, hmu

Well we've been brutalised the past 3 session/2 days. Redline tanking, blue line tanking. Admittedly, I'm probably not playing my absolute best, however, my results at 500z this year are genuinely a joke. I fully believe, perhaps rightly or wrongly (i'm sure there are numerous guys laughing out loud right now ), that i have an edge on the pool, but i'm legit getting wrecked beyond belief. Here's today's graph.

I'm actually gunna post my yearly 500z results too. Not exactly sure why, probably cus i'm on a venting roll. 60bi below ev is not fun, but i don't feel it conveys actually how poorly I've run in spots.

With that said, i am still 4bb/100 over my entire 500z sample, but the past 9 months has been laughable.

#pray4op etc

Well that feels good to get that off my chest. I'm definitely gunna play again later. Hopefully the games will be juiced.

Was lurking this thread for a while. Major recognition for keep posting while running badly. Think lower stakes players can learn a lot from your blog, especially how variance nowadays work in poker. Amazing discipline to keep grinding.

I hope you catch some heat for the rest of the year. Wish u GL
