Congrats on the year George! Shame to hear the 1k shots didn't go so well but it just takes persistence and one decent run to make it stick (even if it is soulcrushing the multiple times it doesn't stick).
Best of luck in 2020!
tyty mate, and one day we will make it stick!

Hit the nail on the head with that recap. It amazes me how many poker players completely ignore the diet/exercise/sleep aspect of things and just sit there clicking buttons all day!
I'd be pretty surprised if the guy playing 4-5 hours a day, working out everyday, eating right, and getting 8 hours of sleep wasn't making more money than the fat depressed burnt out guy playing 7-8 hours.
Big +1 to people mattering. I've learnt the importance of that myself this year with the amount of actual ***** spastic humans I've encountered in this place. :')
Gl bro will follow going forward!
yeah it's hard because we obviously want life to be an easy, try harder, play more, win more kind of thing but poker just doesn't work that way.

Great results and it's awesome you're happy, traveling, doing what you love and around people you enjoy+care about in something you find intellectually stimulating, but don't you worry that poker is dead and you'd be better off in an openoffice 9-5 filling out TPS reports?
Ever think about learning to code?
lmfao nice try

Quick January recap:
Went through this month feeling like I ran very very badly, so was pretty surprised to import my hands just now and see that I actually won a bit.
Still, a lot of things to work on. Living with Markus has made me realise how lazy I actually am in getting through all the minor spots I marked, and I definitely want to be more religious with scripting all my marked spots and looking through after sessions.
Average stake 400nl this month, which is much better than I expected before importing, so hopefully can increase this next month with a couple of new sites.
To reflect, I'm going to split into positives and negatives:
Negatives
- Poor EV w/r, albeit tiny sample
- Didn't review a lot of spots I marked
- Very low hands per hour at times
- 13.5k hands of 200z
- Diet extremely rotten
Positives
- Volume good given moving to Vienna and short holiday
- Improved a ton at 40bb
- Still EV sunlord
- Games v good
Managed to squeeze in a trip to a small Austrian ski resort too with 464, 464 gf, Linus, and klem90 which was a very good time. Skieed a ton of park, went sledging, drank beers, destroyed everyone at all board games
March is looking like almost a full month off for me so hoping to put in a major grind in February from Vienna, adding a few more sites to hopefully bring average stake up.
Also still looking to take a few new students playing SSNL for our new elite group at bitB cash with makeboifin and FourSixFour, both playing between 2k-10knl every day, pm me if you have any questions or are interested.
Pictures from recent mini ski trip:
Trip begins with me losing breakfast bill*3 to sunrunner LL, which he then martingaled into me paying for his ski pass. Classic hand to be dealt to make a PLO, holdem and one card hand on this flop.
Sledging after a few beers, nearly killed 464s gf in the process of this, knocked her off a ten foot drop into a frozen river (she did KO me into a ditch the round before in all fairness):
Linus finding some untracked European sites:
464 finding the bottom 5% of goggles:
Claudio Parchisio:
Glgl all for Feb!
