Month is going well but we not risking the curse yet so will leave it at that. Have been playing a bit more higher which is fun, definitely makes me more focused - regs are definitely a fair bit more competent though.

Have been really motivated this month and played 50k hands already. For the first 15 days I did a call PIO reviewing all marked hands from previous day with various members of the bitB coaching team every single day too, which is a) always really fun anyway and b) obviously extremely helpful for improvement.

Hoping I can maintain the motivation for last few days before a much lower volume month in July due to holidays.

Lifewise, have been climbing a lot with D7 and slowly working our way up the bouldering stakes, and playing 5 aside at least once a week (popped off with a 5 goal game last week too).

Just got back from a Stag weekend camping in the highlands in glorious sun too. Our guide was an ex Special Forces guy with some unbelievable stories (video from his company ), and activities included shooting, and a speedboat pub tour so yeah, very enjoyable. Pics below:

I tried to make a huge wall of text trying to defend ur play but after I read it I saw it was terrible and impossible to defend haha.

That spot is very rare btw, few people will manage to find enough bluffs in there, specially if they aren't 4-betting SCs(or spazzing with KK obv lol). But your value range is so narrow that if you bluff only with TT/KQs you will have enough bluffs in there.

Btw, why not simplifying by making it bigger otf and jamming the turn? The difference in EV is minimal and it's a good idea to play a more simple strat vs good opposition.

Actually obviously a bit of an issue to play a hand like this, shouldn't be rotting off 100bb like this really ever.

Simplification to big and jam turns in 4bps I don't like because people play terribly vs the small bets and in general there is much more room for error there.

So last month was my first 10k month of 2019, but you know we going back 2 back:





Plus 5.9k on RIO so total of $20,472, but no hands from there yet unfortunately.

Obviously thrilled with results and my study and progress through the month. I genuinely believe I'm outworking a lot of the other regs at the moment and it's nice to see your edge manifest in spots where others make mistakes you would not make - 'All men are born equal, some work harder in preseason'.

That said still a long way to go, some really major disastrous punts these last few days and a lot of spots I still quite regularly make big errors in.

Got some big trips planned in July so lower volume, but hoping to maintain the same focus I had at the beginning and middle of the month and keep going strong.
