I`m a SNG player from Romania and I`ve been playing poker since 2013.



I completed 2 challenges last year:

Now I want to do a whole year challenge and it goes like this:

Making 50k$ in 2019
-I`ll play mostly turbo SNGs from 9man to 180man, between 2$ to 30$, on Pokerstars.
-10-20% of games will be MTTs.
-get some bonuses from playing a few live mtts.

Enjoying life
-travel at least once every 2-3 months.
-do 15 min of physical exercises 5 days a week.
-play football and board games every week.
-meditate - I`ll try do it as often as I can and get to the point when i`m meditating every day.
-design a board game- for this I will set a few hours every week and learn board game designing. I`ll add some poker elements/dynamic to it.
-quit smoking.
-finish a few books - I have a few historical books I wanted to read for some time.

I`m not running that great in MTTs, but I feel this will change with the Turbo Series and with the work I put off the tables.

The enjoying life challenge
- played football and did my exercises
- meditated almost every time before session
- played a lot of board games. I recently started a Dungeons & Dragons campaign.
- did some reading and travelled

- didn`t do my homework for board game design
- and i`m still preparing to quit smoking

I haven`t played in the last 7-8 days because I was sick. I`m feeling better now and I`m going to restart the grind.
I had a lot of time to read and watch movies. Finished reading Allen Carr`s book and now I`m a non smoker (since sunday).

Finishing 9th in the BB109$ and 4th in 109$ Battle Royale, payed for my sick time off the tables. I still have 3 days of Turbo Series, so let`s see what we can bink.

My friend had an awful experience getting coaching from "Mihai".

His material was so broad and general with zero examples. My friend said it was like watching a free video on youtube or reading a poker101 for dummies book. He wanted my friend to pay another $100/h so that he can teach the math behind 3betting.

The nature of coaching should be to fix the most urgent concerns given the limited time and high cost. Mihai doesn't realize this and instead wants to teach my friend 3betting. Nobody knows why, even Mihai doesn't know why. My friend asked why 3betting and Mihai couldn't answer and proceeded to spew out nonsense.

He started to say some outrageous stuff when confronted about the quality of coaching. He called my friend a "loser" and that he will never achieve anything in life. I'm not sure who the "loser" is. The poker player who lives on 50k/year (who probably never had a job) or the guy who can afford to play and learn poker as a hobby. Mihai probably lives like a king in his third world country so thats why he is so arrogant.

To those who need coaching, it's much better to just work with a cheaper coach or sign up for a coaching site. Nobody would want to pay $100/h to learn the math behind 3betting.

First of all, you are reviwing the quality of my coaching based on a story told to you by your friend. You weren`t there. Could your friend be subjective when he told you the story?

It`s allways the same issue with my "3rd world country". Have you ever been to Romania? Do you know it`s not a 3rd world country? If you were born in a "better" country it`s not your credit, you were lucky.

I was first confrunted for the quality of coching on 2+2. As I said he should have talked to me first and if i`m not comunicative or not trying to resolve the problem(if any), then he can get all his friends an relatives to comment to my 2+2 posts.

It`s not arrogance, but I give zero respect to people that lie.

Maybe you could find a coach that can give you the magic pill for poker. You don`t need to do any work, it has to be cheap, fast and no math involved. No need to teach you the math behind concepts, he just needs to find some way to get that into your head.

Your post can be compared to a guy that reviews Pizza Hut with 1 star because a friend told him the pizza was bad. He never went there.

Update:
+11000$
2500 sngs played = 7100$ profit
600 mtts played = 3900$ profit
193 hours played

I started playing more mtts up to 109 buyin and sometimes a few satellites for bigger games.

The enjoying life challenge is going great:
- played football and board games every week
- 2 weeeks without smoking
- I`ll start going to the gym for 2 days a week
- I`m travelling to Serbia for a few days of snowboarding
- I`m still in the first faze of board game designing(learning). The lazy way = watching youtube tutorials/movies. I`ll have to do something practical soon.
- I`ll get my reading up on this trip

I`ll get back to the tables on March 4 or 5.
