I'm about to play my 3rd tournament of the day here in prague. I busted the heads up event 0-2 first round. I got caged pretty hard and I'm pretty sure it wasn't variance. Based on his sizings and lines im pretty sure he had a lot of online HU experiance. Im sure i was +ev versus the feild but sometimes u just get a ****ty table draw. Then busted the 1k Nlh. If I lose this turbo I'm gonna make it to the magnetic festival tonight, which should be awesome, so kinda a win-win situation.

This trip is wrapping up. I have the 5k turbo 6max and 2k turbo 6max tomorrow. If I don't cash any of these 3 mtts, ill have only made 13k~ this trip. But whatever, it was a cool/different experience.

I put in a good session of 5/10 deep antes tables on stars last night, which was cool. I feel really at the top if my game lately and I'm rethinking a lot of "standard spots". I'm 100% sure that I can make it to $1,000,000 by the end of 2013. I spent a bunch of time last night thinking about my goals for next year and how I'm gonna get there.

I'm pretty sure I'm winning for 3-7bb/100 at 1000 and 2000nl lately depending on the lineup. That's something like 70c per hand. If I just stay on that grind and keep playing these live mtts on my own dime I think I'd have to run pretty bad to not get there. I'm gonna make sure I put myself in position to be able to play all the WSOP and WSOPe events on my own dime and be OK financially if i brick. I'd also like to play all PCA, the wpt championship, and the ept grand final, but those would be more luxury things. Winning a bracelet is a lifetime goal for me so I'm 100% playing all WSOPs even if they're outside my bankroll.

I'm also going to get into some other stuff. I made like 40k in 2012 staking my roommates. So ill probably continue to do that, and keep good track of what I make/lose from it. Ill prob but more peices of people in the marketplace too. I'm also going to get into coaching. I've had a lot of PMs about it since I've been doing this thread but I didn't wanna **** with it because I didn't think I would be a great coach and didn't wanna charge people my poker hourly then them be disappointed when I can't change they're game enough for them to get good value. But I think I may do the first bunch of lessons dirt cheap just to get good at coaching. (Dirt cheap by online poker coach standards ).

Tonight is my last day in Prague.

I ended up skipping the 5k turbo 6max and the 2k turbo 6max. I played online MTT's yesturday, with a few deep runs. I cashed the million on stars, cashed the mega on 888, got around 20th in the big 109r that stars has, and got 6th in the 322$ 6max re-entry FTOPs. It woulda been nice to in that last flip and ladder/ win the thing but o well. I won about $20k in that. Unfortunatly i looked myself up on sharkscope and I'm still -$50k at online MTTs. I used to be a huge dumper/fish in those, but i feel like im really learning them. Im gonna commit a bunch of hours when I'm home to 3bet/4bet math, and work really hard on my mtt game for 2013.

I had an awesome trip. Made about $45k total. Met some new people. Had a good night out drinking. My room is starting to get the way every hotel room gets towards the end of a poker trip where it smells disgusting and its pretty much the last place that i want to wake up. So im ready to leave Prague.

Gross hotel rooms at the end of a poker trip you say...? That brings back some memories.

I'm on the flight home from PCA. Lost 12k there playing mtts. Didn't get to play any cash. I don't think there was even great Nlh action just a lot of PLO and open face, which I am learning!

I got to play $50k in buyins, and put in a ton of hours. I got 8th in a 2k turbo that had 250 people. That was kinda a heartbreaker. I played the 25k but sold 40% and that was my only big mistake of the trip. I played an interesting hand in the first orbit. That turned out to be a big mistake.

Hijack opened for 500 at 1/200. We're all 50k effective. CO called. I squeezed ATo from the sb. This is arguably a mistake. Folding is prob best here 250bb deep but I wanted to play lots of hands deep vs tourney regs who are more used to short stacks.

Hijack folds and CO calls. His range is weak here. Mine is strong. Flop 988r. I cbet and he raises 3.3x. Honestly I think his range here is 95% air. 99 and 8x almost always let me barral. And having a T I actually crush portions of it like QT and JT. I call.

Turn is T bringing a back door heart draw. I think this card is a clear call given the above info.

River is a 2 that bricks the flush draw. Versus his range here this should just be a pretty happy call. Unfortunately I tanked and folded. And literally 99% of my thought process was that I'd have to tell the people that bought my action that I stacked off with a pair for 250bb in the first orbit. They hadn't even sent the $ yet so I'd have to go back upstairs after playing 2 minutes and say its over but can u send me that 10k.

Anyways, I grinding back some chips, stayed as tilt free as possible and then lost a flip for my stack. That's the last time is sell action to anything. I just can't play the same knowing its not my own money. And i want to be able to 7bet jam J8o if i want to like iiftari did! I'm saving up for wsop and wpt stuff for the next few months and going to own dime all the events there.

All in all I had a great time at PCA though. I got to chill out with my little bro who I brought along, and I don't get to hang out with often. I learned a few nonstandard things from watching good MTT regs. I tried them out in a long session of online cash games at I played last night and they seemed to work very well. One concept that I think is easy to put into words quickly is that you don't always have to cbet 2/3-3/4 pot. You can cbet even 1/4 pot, w hands that are basically bluffs when you make a normal sized cbet.

Edit: oh yes in the hand history he showed 56 when I folded.

Gl, can't wait for cash updates. Hours u did put in and coaching u took was always very inspiring for me. U learned me to fold pairs oop, might start cbetting small too

I haven't updated this in a while because I haven't had anything to write about recently. I'm playing a lot of poker recently though, and have some graphs and nonsense to post now.

January went OK. I did PCA and got 8th in a 2k turbo there. Then did WPT borgata and got 6th in a 1k 6max. I'm over the poker trips till Vegas, and on the grind to build a roll for that.

My roommates and I made a bet for the month of February where we all clock in when we grind, and the one who grinds the least is the apartment butler from march 1-3.

After 2 days of grind I'm in 3rd with 20 hours of play. I'm winning a lot on tracked sites and losing piles on bodog. Ill post graphs tomorrow. Ill be grinding everyday and prob posting random updates here. I split with my girlfriend a couple weeks ago so I have so much grind in me now. She was cool but The idea of getting back into a long term relationship at 23 years old made me cringe.

Also side note: a few ppl pmed me on my other 2p2 account about coaching. I don't use that account anymore so pm me here for whatever. I don't think I'm gonna do coaching tho. I don't enjoy coaching sessions. Ill leave the coaching to the regs no longer winning . But feel free to ask a random question or whatever.
