Hey 2p2. Long time lurker, first time poster. I used to play HSNL mostly on fulltilt before black friday and I've relocated to play poker again. I'm coming here with a much smaller bankroll and will be starting at 100nl. I will be following some strict bankroll managment requirements to move up, but id like to move up ASAP, and would like to make $1,000,000 by the end of 2012.

My rules will be:
100nl below $10,000
200nl between $10,000 and $20,000
400nl between $20,000 and $30,000
600nl between $30,000 and $50,000
1000nl between $50,000 and $100,000
2000nl between $100,000 and $250,000
5000nl above $250,000

I have some outside of poker stuff going on, and a lot of real-life expenses so its possible I could make $40,000 for example, and still be playing 200nl. I will be posting graphs, hands, and thoughts along the way though, and moving up as quickly as I can. Ill be updating a few times a week.

Terrible start. Id like to blame it all on luck but i think I played some hands sub-optimally. I also took some high variance lines. Ill upload a graph about 10,000 hands or so in. For now, Im 3300 hands in and -$782.

Luckily, I have a good rakeback deal on the site that im putting most of my volume in. I'm also going to be bouncing around other sites collecting deposit bonuses and rewards while im at the 100nl level, and stuff like that is important.

I started out both running and playing not so great. It was a really soul crushing way to start. I feel like i'm on my game now though, and a bit more confident about situations that I didnt remember so much. I started out calling too much, mostly on rivers, vs 100nl regs that arent really bluffing as much as I expected.

I was going to throw in the towel for the day after losing 24 buyins at 6max, but I decided to play some heads up, and won some back. In my defense, most of the losses at 6max were at 100nl GPB, not USD, I accually only lost 1900 big blinds there.

Im going to keep playing HU on the side to cut some variance, but Id like to play mostly 6max so that I can put in a lot of hands. I earned $450 today in rakeback. If i can stop having such dissasterous days, that will really add up.

1m$ sounds insane, itll take a while. gl

why the bankroll @ small stakes is more buy-ins than the mid stakes roll? more tables at small stakes? how many tables do you play now?

THX. Im moving up stakes every time i have 50 buyins for the next stake. For 6max about 8-10 tables. For heads up I play up to 5 if i get that much action.

Im 22 and living in niagara falls now. Playing heads up on all sites, but 6max mostly on an ipoker skin because i have an awesome rakeback deal there, with the occasional session on another site for some change of sceenary.

thanks. no, if im in the mood for a heads up session, ill just sit on each site and play people as they come. Usually ill only have a few people but every once in a while I get flooded with action. 5 is the max ill play before i start quitting people.

Im just wrapping up a super long session. its 1pm here, and I played through the night. I switched to autopiloting 6max as I got really tired. The last 2-3 days are kind of a blurr with a ton of poker played. Im at 21000 hands. Ev is at +650, which is kind of lame but since i got of to such a poor start, i cant complain.

EV is up 650 but actual money is same?

Yeah i meant 5 different people HU is insane. I know of a few HU specialists and they usually say they can only play 3 max before they really suck.

I played 2 different fish today HU and i was playing badly because they were both really different and had a hard time playing 2 different ways against them.
