I guess as good a place as any to keep track of my poker play and various other things going on in the city. Looking forward to getting back to the tables on Friday after a long hiatus. Brushed up on some literature and hope the dust comes off fairly quickly.

Well a solid victory today A/C compressor was not shot and I added some oil and refrigerant to the system and she seems to be cooling which will definitely make the summer here a little more bearable. Now an oil and filter change on tap.
One more week of work before hitting the tables. Really excited about returning to playing poker. Took a look at the Nugget series and think I will enter the 8 game tournament next Friday.

Well finished up with my old gig yesterday and now on to the pokers Giong to give the Nugget 8 game tourny a go this morning and hopefully make a deep run in that, probably some late night Nugget session afterwards.

Well a decent but somewhat disappointing ending to the tourny. Finished 3rd for 2963.00. Probably back to the regular tables tomorrow.

A fairly long day today made further so by having to load up another batch of **** from my apartment as my lease is up on Wednesday, just about got everything out.

A pretty pedestrian day on the poker table. Decided to put in a few hours at the Nugget and the game I sat in was pretty good although I didn't have any real hands of consequence during the session.

Another short night at the Nugget. Changed tables twice and none of them were very good. Played a short bit and decided to call it a night. Only two hands of any prominence, semi bluffed a lady off KK on a monotone board and picked off a bluff from another player for a few duckets.

Got to finish up with moving stuff out of the apartment tomorrow.

Managed to knock out the penultimate load of **** at the apartment. Finishing up with the rest later today. Did manage to get my first session in at the Rio. Played for 4 hours. Would have liked to step into the 75-150 Stud 8B game with Cindy as it looked fairly juicy but a smidgen out of the current BR so I jumped into a 1-3 NL game.

Only two hands of any significance tonight. First I call a raise to 13.00 out of the BB after an UTG raiser (100 BB) and a couple of callers came along with the 56 clubs (150 BB). Flop Q 7 8 (2 clubs). I check, UTG bets 30.00, one caller and I pop it to 90. UTG goes all in, other folds and I call and waste no time hitting the offsuit 4 on the turn.
Second I open MP with two black kings for 13.00, call by button who has me covered and the BB who liked to call most bets. Flop 886, Check to me I bet 25, both call. Turn 4, I fire 75 and get called by the button and CR by the BB all in for about 350 more. I folded as did the button. BB showed 57o.

Some chip porn from my 1-3 NL run good fest at the Rio last night/today. Put in a little over 18 hours. Obviously ran good but was more happy that I didn't make that many mistakes. No poker tonight as I am dead tired. Probably try to get in an early session tomorrow somewhere.

Put in another session at the Nugget tonight. Definitely didn't run as true as the last couple of sessions. Took some nasty 2-3 outers on the river but luckily against the right people that didn't make me pay that much. The biggest hand of consequence was against an older gentleman that couldn't lay his top pair down against my two pair for a 900+ size pot. That one hand allowed me to still show a decent win despite some run bad otherwise.

Found myself down about 750.00 within the first hour tonight at the Nugget. Managed to claw my way back through a couple of nice donations from a young kid that managed to not push me off my aces all in preflop with K7o for a 1000.00 pot. He reloaded 500.00 and managed to bluff that off to me as well before heading out for other debaucheries. My other two pocket aces managed to get cracked by 1010 and JJ, both of which flopped sets. Luckily the board ran out well for me on the 1010 hand so I saved some duckets there and the JJ hand the villain got it all in preflop with only 200 so it could have been worse. Ended up winning 282.00 and decided to call it a night as the game was losing the fishies and I didn't feel up to switching tables again.

Back in the saddle at the Nugget last night until around 1130 today after a couple of days off to attend to some things. The game was really, really good for most of the night with one cat reloading multiple times of 500.00 and spewing it off. Found myself down 1K and climbed back to about 400 ahead before making a bonehead call on the river which put me back in the red a bit. Stayed steady and nearly eaked out a 4 digit win today when I decided to call it a session when the spewer changed tables and I needed to get home anyway to attend to some pork ribs.

Decided to knock the dust off of my limit holdem game as I anticipate on transitioning to the Bellagio 20-40 and 40-80 games before too long. Playing at the Orleans on the graveyard hourly challenge which should not be a problem knocking out the most hours or at least tying the most hours if the damn reader doesn't screw me out of time. It only showed 7.93 hours of the available 8 hour time for the period and I damn sure didn't miss any time. I am going to be pissed if I am not in first place due to some damn error.

On well, monetarily not a big loss but I just hate losing
