<Squanderer - Zooming past nl 10/16>

Hey guys
Been a long time lurker here at the pgc forums. Read a ton of blogs and enjoyed most of those. I made an account here just so I could post in vegasmidas' blog as it seemed pretty cool to me. (i dont know him irl).

Im not gonna be geting into a lot of details aboout my background. I have a 9 hr job and I devote most of the other time playing poker and some hand analysis with a pokre friend. Of late I have been grinding close to 3k hands a hands on stars. zooming nl10 and 16 .

Im not a European.

I dont have any goals or a well defined purpose for this blog but I think it will help me recall stuff when I look back in future. My journey, growth etc etc..

I think I have a little over 200k hands life time. spread over 3 years. (volume )

Things are a little different now. I have a coach who is very supportive and I think my game has definitely improved after a having a few sessions. Basically more discipline brought in.

some graphs:

My nl 10 zoom so far( mostly pre coaching. the last surge you see is post coaching about 25k hands)
Spoiler:

My shots at nl 16z hasnt been so bad. I think the pool at 16 is a lot fishier than 10 nl.

nl16z
Spoiler:

Ah well, now that the graphs are done. Ill post some hands that i thought were interesting when I played.

Hand 1

Im not sure if my flop check back is fine here? Maybe with an A. I hate to be check raised on this board. My plan was to call turn and river cos viallin is almost always betting his strongs hands ott. (kq,qq, TJ maybe).

His check shove was so fishy. Nothing made sense to me here. Looks like an action performed to drive me away from the pot than one made for protection or value. Well.. what do you guys think?

I can remove the results if you guys think opinions will be biased.

    Spoiler:

    Hand 2

I kinda like my bluff here. Looks like viallin is betting AK or maybe AJ/Q for thin value otr. I dont see a Tx in his range. I think I rep JJ here quite hard. What do guys think??

Can you tell me who your coach is? Actually looking for a low stake coach with ZOOM knowledge.

Blog seems solid, going to follow! GL and see you on the tables!

Hey Plompzakker.. yes I can. I cant seem to send you a private message. Could be possibly because of the message count. I dont want to disclose the details here as I am not entirely sure about the forum policies. Or If you can ship me your skype I can give you details.

      And thanks for following.

Ah well... Today was brutal to say the least. Lost 7 Bis playing 700 hands or so.

Forced myself to review all the pots with a friend, where Ive won or lost >40bbs and I got around 30 hands.

Looks like I was bluffcatching too wide and calling super wide when on tilt.

Does anyone else playing micros have a WTSD% of >34 and winning at 10bb/100 over 40k hands? I am really curious how your graph looks like.

Been dabbling with the idea of shunning myslef from looking at the results for sometime now. To progress on that idea I removed all stats related to winnings ,ev,bb/100 etc.. I also removed HERO hud while playing so I dont accidentally see how Im doing :P.

Has anyone else had any success with that sort of a thing?

I will be checking my results by the end of this month and hopefully I'd have hit my 40 Bi for that nl25 shot. hmm well..

yup .. so good luck all.

had to check my results a few times in between as i knew I was definitely losing some stacks here and there. And there you go !

      YUCK!!

Found some interesting reads here on 2p2.

Back to the grind now before I head to work.

The focus now is goin to be on lesser tables and more spots.

AQ hand I would raise small on the river (and fold to a raise) and get paid from a weaker ace. The allin has only two effects: worse hands fold and only better hands call.

Hey Wacker.. re The AQ hand - youre right there mate, but dont you think I fold out some Ak combos?

EDIT : There arent many though :P . A smaller raise now looks better in hindsight.

          Update

I think Im officially down like 20 BIs in like 30k hands in the past week. But I dont worry too much about it. I just saw and realised that I have made 1/4th of my lifetime vpps this month alone. That speaks tons about the volume I have put in before.

Volume is key here, to make these swings a lot less insignificant.

Im looking to put in some work on ranges. Maybe try use a software like flopzilla. Hopefully I can put something here in this blog about work on ranges.

Hey, Thanks for cheking my blog out. I am indeed back on the grind. Got married recently which put things on a standstill for a while. I am grinding nl25 on ACR and am probably the only one who puts in lower volume than you do!.. I do have a coach.. actually a team of three and it seems to work wonders now.
