I've gotten use to like -4k and -5k days since I have them like 3-4 times a month so I'm not taking it as bad. I just feel numb, like a feeling of emptiness.

Irl, I'm moving to Montreal tomorrow for an undetermined amount of time.

Could stay there for like 6 weeks like I could end up living there for like 1 year+. Not sure yet.

Also, my friends started investing in crypto this summer and I joined the bandwagon this September (I know, I'm late).

I'm a bit addicted to it now tbh. I think I mentioned it somewhere before in my thread, but whenever I start something, I want to tryhard and be the best at it. That's why I don't game basically, because I cannot do it casually.

So yeah, the digital currency investments have been grudging a lot of my time recently. Especially since my friends dig very deep in some lowkey altcoins and **** like that. I'll try to manage it alongside with poker.

Or maybe I'll try and incorporate both in my blog since it's really something I want to keep doing and I know I won't be able to restrain myself from.

Last week we did hit homerun with Walton (WTC) and loopring (LTC). Sadly, i didnt have/took the time to buy WTC .. just banked on the LTC.

Anyways, that's what I've been up to recently.

Poker wise, i'm still hungry but still a bit scared abt 1k.

I know that it's the way to go though .

Nice month OP, and sick long term 500z results now. Do you pool select or just play whenever? Whenever I check the line-ups (UK day time) it looks super grim.

Just chiming in here, I've been following crypto for a while now (held BTC since 2015, ETH since 2016.), and feel like I've learnt a bit in that stage. Think number one thing you have to be aware of is that recently we have been in massive bull market. This has lead to tons of confirmation bias, as basically randomly investing would have got you huge returns, it's easier for there to be random outlier returns convincing people they have investing strategies that 'beat' the market. So whenever you read advice or come up with strategy yourself, ask yourself why you're strategy is making beating the market. (understanding of how markets work is crucial here, even just reading efficient market hypothesis to put you on the most simplistic negative outlook as a basepoint is a good idea.)

I honestly think for vast majority of people best strategy is to develop a diversih portfolio with heavy exposure to btc for some lowish % of net worth and leave it in a secure location. Too much risk of diverting energy away from other profitable activities (read poker) and getting overwhelmed by noise otherwise. The crypto markets are young/ inefficient enough and protected from big money that it's probably possible for relative noobs to be +EV trading short term, but this will not be the case for long, and timing your exit is also a problem if you are going with a shorter term strategy.

Not a dig at OP at all here because I obv have no idea his trading strategy and what kind of data, algorithms etc his friends have access too. Just general advice for someone new trying to get involved here.

TLDR; Good opportunity to expose yourself to emerging potentially explosive assets, high variance, most alt-coins long term going to zero, trying to be too clever can easily result in owning yourself, technical analysis is primarily bull****.
