Tbh, my reg days as an Arp and Whirlpool grinder were some of the best ever.
Had soooo much fun there, and the grind was steady and enjoyable.

So yeah, April is over.

Pretty meh month to say the least results wise. After b2b 10k+ month, I was shooting for the stars again but fell short.

Not too happy w my play in general at 500z. Too many costly mistakes and knew I wasn't playing on A-game towards the end of month.

Still lots of work to do there... ohh well, I'll take the 1bi ev at 500z and move on to next month.

One thing I did realize through those 43k hands at 500z is that it's definitely beatable and that I'm pretty sure I can belong there.

Also, finally managed to make a couple of friends in the pool so that's nice

It definitely helps being able to share some reads on the other regs of the pool w fellow regulars.

Irl related, been reading "Man's Search For Meaning" by Victor R. Frankl.



Friend told me it was a must read. Def can understand why he thought so highly of that book.

Basically, it's the story about a Jewish man in a concentration camp during WW2 and he explains how he survived.

He tells us that through his mind and attitude, he was able to find positive in every day's work even though he was living in hell.

It's really good but can sometimes be raw.

As for the upcoming month, looking to put in even more volume at 500z in May and expect better results obv.

Will need to change some aspects of my strategy too in certain spots, so yeah, decent amount of off table work will be needed too.

Slowly trying to never go back to 200z but it can be hard sometimes since the pool lately has looked sooo appealing w tons of 1 tabling fish.

What music do you listen to?

Tbh, I like all kind of music genres.

I'd say the only ones I dislike are country and metal.

Rock and rap can be okay but don't like them much particularly.

My favorite band is AVA (Angels And Airwaves), mostly because of Tom DeLonge.

Could post dozen of songs I love about this band but I'll post this one only



However, my day to day music is more Avicci-Chainsmokers like I'd say.

Lately, I've been listening to a few songs from Halsey. This is probably her best one.



And this one has been the song I've been listening to the most often in 2017. I can't seem to get tired of it...



I also have a mainstream side lol. I know it's sketchy af but this song by Demi Lovato has found its way more than a few times on repeat while grinding.



Also a huge fan of "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift. Used to blast off that **** while doing chores lol.

So yeah, that's pretty much it.

Not a huge fan of live shows though I'd say although, I've never been to one on drugs so that could just be it.

Like, going to an AVA show on MD would be sick for sure.

But from where I'm from, the music festival always brings back the same Rock bands from like the 90s that are still popular like Metallica and what not.

As for poker, not looking at results but think it's going okay.

Still making one or two bad calls every sesh for stacks at 500z... So yeah, still tons of room for improvement.

Happy though; I've only played 200z once so far this month, rest has been all 500z. Let's hope I keep it that way.

Done with my month; been way too tilted lately because running super ****ing bad at 500z so I'm calling it quit for this month.

So yeah, pretty bummed out about the major blowout at the end. What could of been a 20k month... Ohh well, I shouldn't been sad about a 10k month; it's just that I was up so much money before...

Played well for most of the month except for the last week I guess. I'll take a break cause my confidence atm is rly low. I mean, I did lose 11-12k or so in the last 7 days, go figure.

Anyways, will go back to 500z eventually. It's just getting a bit annoying to never take the final step towards like only 500z-1k-2k and always having to go back/rely on 200z.

Volume was super poor because I did spent like 3 days entirely on scoops this month. Made 2 deep runs, one in a 2k event actually but got set over set in the first minutes of day 2 where I had a bigger than average stack too. MTT life lol. I also moved away from my friends house to back to my parents' this month. I'm not sure where I'll be staying this fall. I'll be looking for someplace to grind/live for a couple of months. Unsure where to go yet. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

Irl, I'll be abroad for the next 50 days or so. I'm currently in Ireland and going to Slovakia tomorrow to meet up with some friends. Should be cool.

Then going to Australia-Asia later on.
