Hey guys, update time

So, I spend the last 6 days or so playing 500z. Here's the graph



Pretty meh, but all things considered, by no means as bad as my first shots. Volume as been super poor, mostly because I've been having so much nights/activities w friends. Just this week, I've played football (soccer), volleyball, tennis, and tonight, I played a board game called The Resistance: Avalon which was pretty tryhard (loved it though). And on top of that, there's my 3x week gym.

I'm also having the hardest of time putting good amount of volume because the pool is so strong and my sessions become mentally draining pretty quickly. Also, I don't have as much of confidence in myself as I do at 200z (obv) so yeah, doubting myself in more spots which results in losing confidence sometimes in my game, which leads to B-C game.

Anyways, I'll stay at 500z for now and see how it unfolds. My play as been fairly okay I believe. Getting more and more accustomed to the pool and villains. 200z was freaking hard at the beginning too, so I know it will for sure take some more time.

Also, I've been thinking of making this thread a bit more personal as I haven't been talking much about myself yet.

Also been thinking about moving to Australia at the beginning of 2017. Not entirely sure yet. I'll think about it a bit more until I come down to a decision.

A bit of everything. I mean, never will I see a reg at 200z turn good 3rd pair + gutter as a bluff here in late positions when he's also ip. I could see that bluff coming from QTs as MP vs Btn scenario, but that's about it.

NZ sounds appealing too. Never been to Oceania, I'd like to go in somewhat of a near future.

Basically, I never have any of the sets on that board and the only nuts I have are QJ basically and some meh 2 pairs that might or might not stand the heat of 3 barrels.

Mixing 200 and 500 nowadays, things are going okay. Just want to be established at 500z by the end of the year.

I don't pool select much, so even if there's Ishter, Si_Donald, Tutti, KTcc, MMA and other sickos, I usually jump in. That might be ******ed lol but I believe that playing w the best increases your learning process and helps you improve faster.

I've been playing 200z mainly the last few days. Not because I don't feel comfortable at 500z, but because it's easier to put in lots of volume.

Idk why, but the 500z pool has been running on and off during my grind times this week, so didn't rly want to bother playing when there are only 14 entries and its 4max.

Those K3hh bluffs have yet to pan out anytime I try them. In general I find I am usually called when I x/r rivers in both PLO and NL.

Yeah, like I said, not a big fan of that bluff rly. Huge lead seems better.

200z went meh too. Experienced a lot of coolers and a bit of tilt towards the end of the month. I also caught the flu towards the last 3 days of November so wasn't able to put the volume that I wanted to.

Anyways, won't complain about a 30bi EV and 5bb/100+ month.

So, I've checked, and I've played 345k hands at 200z since moving up this summer. I'm getting a bit too comfortable at 200z, and this will make it harder for me to shot take 500z in the future.

I'll see what I do this month. 200z is fun to grind for volume purposes and because it's relatively stressfree, but I'm not getting anywhere if I stay there...

Also, don't want to **** up my Holidays by shot taking 500z and like, lose 10k in the process lol...

Maybe wait till January? lol I'm such a pussy hahah.

This was my December...



-8k EV wise.... Just insane, all 200z. Think I had 2 winning sessions in the whole month. December is usually the time of the year where I'm the happiest, love the Holidays vibe and family gatherings and such.

However, this year, all I could think of was poker and why it was going so badly... Its pretty ****ed to have a -40bi month when your 6months 200z graph prior to this month looks like this...



So yeah, December was unpleasant to say the least. Didn't feel like hanging out with friends much and was not in the mood at all for Christmas...

I began asking myself lots of questions and self doubt began to creep in obv. I took a break from 2+2 because I didnt want to see peoples graphs crushing during the easiest month of the year. Fml

The thing is,before I began winning in mid 2016 at 200z, I was never that great of a player at 6max. I never rly beat 25z 6max, and beat 50z and 100z for like under 1bb/100 iirc over a **** load of hands.

The only place where I had won consistently prior 2016 was during the time 50z fr ran (3-4bb/100).

So because of that, I was unsure if I was jsut a forever b/e reg that was only on a heater and that now, variance was back and this was it.

Anywyas, I pulled msyelf together after that horrid month and decided to get back to the grind.

January



Broke-even basically cause I lost some on my laptop. Ran ok, but had no confidence so I was playing some spots really gunshy and my ranges were all ****ed. December was always in the back of my mind while playing; that wasn't helping much.

February



Playing much better, but running hot too. However, the Stars replayer keeps ****ing up with my tracker whenever I lose or win big pots and the money won does not correspond with my Stars Balance.

There is like a 1k difference at least between both and there are some hands where I was like 80-20 favorite that went all-in and we split that I just cannot find in my database because of this bug. Anyways, I suspect myself to be up about 8k ev this month more or less. So yeah, basically, I should be over the stupid December ds.

But yeah, it's funny how one can win 10k+ in a month like I did I think back in October, and then have a -8k month, totally crazy.

Waiting for this bug to get fixed by stars before I go back again to 500z and hope not get murdered.

So yeah, here 200z graph since June with ds and all. Prolly missing some 1-2k in EV because of Stars bug and laptop hands.
