This will be a poker blog a bit out of the usual. I’m not gonna be that focused on making money. My real goal is better charisma, articulation and improving my English. I figured making poker videos would be a great way to improve this (they’re still pretty bad so I won’t be posting them). So here I am on my micro stakes journey! Or maybe I have just found an excuse to play some poker again :P

Background
I’m a former 100nl grinder. My poker ‘career’ ended in early 2013 after the by far biggest downswing of my life. With a decent winrate over roughly 90k hands I was chasing my supernova in November/December when my graph suddenly started falling. I don’t have the hands anymore but my graph looked something like this:

Obviously the fall has fueled by further tilting and before the year was done I was far into the negative and my hope of supernova gone.

Journey so far
Here is my graph so far, all 2nl. I started with a 100$ bankroll and I’m gonna start moving up and see what I can turn it into. This post is a nice way to mark my move up to 5nl!

Almost certain he has a bluff on the river, nearly called but figured raising would be even better in case has AJ or something, I think trips are very unlikely here

Moving up to 10nl today with my 11 BI bankroll. So far I'm crushing/running hot so it's easy to keep on moving up, but I'm gonna get a bankroll problem soon unless I put in more volume. Playing that much more isn't really gonna now in my exam period.

Which leads me to my next topic: SCOOP. I wanna play it sooo bad, but it would be such a stupid thing to do. The SCOOP is probably my favorite tourney series or poker thing of any kind that happens all year, but unfortunately it has the worst timing possible

I'll probably play a few events still so I have picked out a few favorites:
      • Event 02, $27 / $215 / $2,100: No Limit Hold'em [6-Max, Progressive Super-Knockout] (2-Day Event)
      • 14:00 ET - Event 06, $7.50 / $82 / $700: No Limit Hold'em [Heads-Up]
      • 11:00 ET - Event 20, $27 / $215 / $2,100: No Limit Hold'em [4-Max] (2-Day Event)

(Yes, I know this is terrible BRM)

Anyway here is my 5nl graph, wish me luck against the 10nl ballers:
