My latest drama:

I'm starting a new job in August, while I am stuck in $10k make-up atm...There are 3 shifts at my new job, but only stretched out over 12 hours total, allowing me to play at least a short session at peak hours on all evenings that I want to.
Few weeks ago, FullTilt closed their offering in my state... few days ago PS.fr closed my account, and on top of that, PS.eu got updated to PS.sh, with no more options to do player to player transfers. Gotta roll with it..

This thread's purpose:

Ranges from crying in public, to posting some short analysis of Omaha and Mixed HH's for the readers, and posting NLHE HH's when I think I need help, to drunken rambling about anything on my off days during the week, and maybe more. Ofc I will do a countdown until I am out of make-up, too.
When that happens, I will play the same I play now on my own, and shottake live PLO 2/5 at least once a month.

Background:

Except Omaha8, I play all MTT-variants. Have been focused on Mixed and PLO Hi, which I crushed in 2013/14... this year, though, I'm down in PLO Hi and Mixed on PS, but at least made 6th and deal HU in the last 500$ 10-Game FTOPS. Thankfully, I started playing NLHE MTT's more seriously, and ran quite well up to 44$ bi there, to somewhat save me from total disaster on PS this year.

Here are the main parts of the schedules that I am going to play during weekdays.

After shift 1 only:

18:00 - 22$ Big
18:30 - 11$ Hot
18:35 - 16,50$ PLO
18:45 - 5,40$ NLHE Turbo KO
19:15 - 11$ NLHE

After shift 1 and 2:

19:15 - 27$ 8-Game
19:25 - 11$ Phase 1 NLHE
19:30 - 16,50$ Hot
20:00 - 11$ Big
20:05 - 33$ Omania

After shift 1, 2 and 3:

21:15 - 11$ Phase 1 NLHE
22:15 - 27$ HORSE
22:30 - 16,50$ turbo
23:30 - 7,50$ Hot
23:30 - 11$ NLHE PSKO turbo
23:45 - 11$ NLHE turbo

Adding some small turbos during the week, and all Weeklies of Mixed and PLO, as well as several red NLHE MTT's at weekends, but not playing 530$ Friday 8-Game and Monday PLO anymore for the next time. Mainly due to new job, but also because I'm not able to sell on here anymore.

I am allowed to play a bit higher than that, including 22$+R PLO, 44$ Hot etc ladida, but I want to keep my schedule a bit lower for the first weeks that I work my new job, to smoothly get used to it again, and clear some make-up without huge swings.

Eat well, stay fit, die anyway:

Will likely take lots of Mondays off, if I don't get some prescription for sleeping pills, since I never to manage to get up before noon on Sunday, hence am often tired on Monday evenings after work and few sleep.
I stopped going to the gym already, and intend to do some Chin-ups and dumbell curls on my way and at home on 2 workdays per week, and push-ups in various angles and shoulder exercises with my dumbells at home on 2 other workdays, plus go jogging and do various exercises outside on at least one of my two off-days from work per week. My only weakness is alcohol and drugs. I always eat well in the morning (healthy and much), and will take fruits, nuts and a big sandwich to work on most days. Decided to always eat an omlett of 4-5 eggs, broccoli and bacon after every day of work (and mini-workout), then eating whatever I want as snacks over the rest of evening and night. Mostly Macadamia nuts, cheese and some wine, meatballs or herring/mackerel with rice, if I managed to visit the fish-man after work. I'm not even close to being fat or massive, but try my best, hehe.

Latitude:

I had my glory when shipping 500$ MTT's, now I need to prove that I can grind my way to being able to afford them without selling for them, since I can't keep giving my backer sperate shares without mark-up, now that he'd get 65%, instead of a few % left, hehe

Am on a 1 week break now, and get tired of beer and trolling, so I'll start grinding again on what I have left in a few days. New job starts next month

Here is a giraffe from when I was down about 7K less than now, iirc:

PS.sh client, and other miseries, are the the penalties for the only one of all 16 states in Germany, which now has legal online-poker, due to a la that has been made 3.5 years ago, and cancelled 3 years ago, rouhgly, and I'm not kidding (pre-election ******ation)... That was a 6,25% badbeat for me...

Resulting in all of us not being able to do player-to-player transfers anymore, and no more FullTilt pokerz, since they didn't get a license 3 years ago. However, they were fine until a month ago... Oh, and PS.fr is closed for us now, too, which is 3x worse than FullTilt...

At least, I will soon be able to get Platinum on Stars now, and together with an E-Bay shop thing I'll soon start, and a 95+5€ Wednesday live PLO I play on my own and sell 50% for, due to the pity rest of my own roll... I'd guess it'll keep me afloat.

I really need to drink and smoke less, and the gym is a wonderfull timekiller for all days that I don't grind. And since I can't sell for the 530$ PLO and 8-Game anymore (sabe weekly mark-up $), I am better off just grinding volume (instead of 1-2 tabling with a 530$ before) on those days that suit me well.

Now I intend to grind Tu/Thu/Sa/So and go to the gym on Mo/Wed/Fr- That'll be the frame for my schedule, but despite mostly visiting friends on gym days, I'll usually miss one grinding day per week on average.

I'll start updating this soon

This is a PLO Hi hand out of today's 27$ Daily 8-Game, which is a good example for basic hand-reading in smallstakes Mixed-MTT's (and micro PLO Hi MTT's):

- 11 players left, and we are already in the money (8-Game = 6-handed)
- Bigstack villain in this hand played very loose in NLHE before
- Villains already trashtalked him actively when I got switched to his table, few orbits ago, during Stud8.

Poker Stars $24.55+$2.45 Pot Limit Omaha Hi Tournament - t500/t1000 Blinds - 5 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

BB: t100795 100.80 BBs
UTG: t24945 24.95 BBs
Hero (CO): t78154 78.15 BBs
BTN: t63942 63.94 BBs
SB: t57503 57.50 BBs

Pre Flop: (t1500) Hero is CO with Q J 4 Q

I have a good hand for a really short stack to commit; or a somewhat deep stack, due to usually having positon postflop, with a big pair and some added draw potentional. I'd usually fold to a pot-3bet (~95% of 3-bets in PLO are pot-size) of anyone, but am happy to see a 2-4 way flop with this hand, likely being in position, and +50bb deep

1 fold, Hero raises to t2500, 2 folds, BB calls t1500

Flop: (t5500) A 6 Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t3355, BB calls t3355

Of course, I have to c-bet here, but I chose to bet lowish for that flop-texture, since I had a feeling that villain would call everything down to bottom-pair + baby flushdraw, if it doesn't look to expensive (I bet 61% here). I also leave more room for turn and river play, which is nice, when having position on the maniac

Turn: (t12210) T (2 players)
BB bets t6105, Hero calls t6105

9 of 10 times, he has a flush here (without a read), and I'm even more sure that he has a flush here, since he'd hardly ever flat made hands on that flop-texture before - I mean, nah... not this maniac russians that got berated in chat...
I need 25% equity to call correctly (breakeven) here, without any further expectations, and I have 22,5% showdown-EV. Easy call here

River: (t24420) 6 (2 players)
BB bets t12210,

Him leading here is really weired, but he likely doesn't realise that his flatcall OTF pretty much takes out all set and top2 combos of his range, as well as eliminating most other weaker 2pair combos with str8draws, at least for this maniac in this hand here. Allowing me to narrow down his range to nearly only flushes, with very few weak 2pair combos (OTF) left, that could have turned into weak fulls here).

Hero raises to t42002, BB raises to t71794,

I-am-not-concerned-snap

Hero calls t24192 all in

Final Pot: t156808
BB shows 8 J K 3 (a flush, Ace high)
Hero shows Q J 4 Q (a full house, Queens full of Sixes)
Hero wins t156808

I'll likely update infrequently, but when I do, I'll do my best, regarding the signal to noise ratio... Maybe just bragging that I know that concept...

****ing TILT!
billygstar, that stupid fishreg sucked out on my like 5 times to bust me in the 82$ HORSE. Best was him defending a K in Razz vs 2 oppoents, and get **** ****ing lucky, ofc.
If that clown would not have hit a set-up in the 320$ WCOOP 2 years ago to bust me as 27th or so, he'd be down lifetime in mixed MTT. Rightfully! However, he keeps getting lucky, that sucker. ****ing hate poker, and the ******s it rewards.

After waking up in the late afternoon, I won a satellite to the 530$ PLO, then busted 13th with set over set for just a mincash... Second would have cleared all of my make-up...
Fixing my sleeping schedule by staying awake until afternoon/evening this Tuesday, and will ge a lot of things sorted by then.
